Though we had been happy with their service before, last week when all the tables inside were empty, they said we couldn't sit there though none of the tables were reserved. They said we could only sit outside or at the bar which was extremely loud. This is the first restaurant I've seen that cannot arrange a table for 2 people though its tables were empty. Of course we left and I don't think we'll go there again.

The best place in San Francisco for a first date! I an a transwoman but i date across the gender spectrum. Flores is something very special. A Mexican restaurant such as one might find in the Zona Rosa or Coyoacán in Mexico City -- the hippest places in North America. Basic dishes but done light and original. Try the pozole for a wakeup. Reasonable price. Great service. Fab drinks... be careful after your second marg. But take your date's hand and look soulfully in their eyes over the guac...

Sat down a for dinner with a group of friends. Snagged some easy resys on a weekday. Impressed by how packed it was on a Tuesday. Seated right away, service was ok nothing special. Table mostly ordered tacos and I got the carnitas, fish and carne asada. Tbh the tacos were underwhelming. Was expecting a lot more flavor of the proteins and/or better sauces. Mediocre at best. Don't think the tacos were worth it given the relatively high prices for each. Ordered a margarita pitcher for the table which was good. The ambience is very cozy and warm. Looks like a cool spot to grab drinks after work or for a date night. Great music!

Something was off tonight, the service was lackluster and the food mediocre. We received our appetizers quickly, but I received my entree at least 20 minutes before my friends. I was finished with my entree by the time the rest of the table received their meals. There was no explanation about the timing and we had to ask for the other entrees. Our server did not acknowledge the awkward pacing of the meal. The quality of the food was just fine, the churros were the only highlight.

I love Mexican food, but I'm sorry to say the food here was incredibly disappointing. The guacamole was not good. The fish tacos were overcooked, and the vegetarian tacos lacked flavor; the fried plantains were mushy. My husband did like the black bean. This restaurant is very busy, which means very, very noisy. So noisy we could not hear each other talk. To top things off, our server never asked us if we wanted another drink. In fact we, she did not notice we had to wait over 30 minutes for our mains. We finally asked for the check. We will not return.

Great mezcal and cocktail. Came here on Valentine's day with no reservation and they got us to a table. Food was a little pricy but still good.

This is a solid spot for happy hour! Love love love sitting outside on a nice day and sipping on cocktails here. The service is always attentive and prompt. They're laid back and aren't the type to constantly ask you how your meal is going but they don't forget about you either. Their tortillas we're delicious and the cocktails were just the right amount of heavy ;) Overall, i'd def recommend you come here with friends or you're missing out!

Was underwhelmed by the food for what the cost was. But the restaurant decor was beautiful and full of young people. With a full restaurant and the loud music it was really difficult to chat.

Idk how this place has 4 stars......Went on Saturday night (2/24/24) and had the most average meal, terrible drinks, and worse service..... Food: Chips and Guac: taste good but 13$ for a very small serving 6 tacos for 35$: 2 carnitas - these were solid tbh, meat was juicy. 4 carne asada - super mid and dry meat. Drinks: Classic Margarita Pitcher 42$: SCAM! The pitcher is literally miniature! Only enough for 4 small glasses. The margaritas taste like they dumped a cup of salt in the pitcher, horrible. Plus they were served it hot glasses straight out of the dishwasher. Who serves cold drinks in hot glasses?? Service: Literally 0 out of 10. - Our drinks came after we got and ate our food....(?) - We had to ask for salsa and hot sauce 3x before they finally brought it, at that point we were basically done eating. - Our server was nowhere to be found most of the time and didn't checkin on us... - They have the audacity to default the tip amounts to 22%..... lol Id been here a few times in a past but honestly will never got back. There are 1000 better Mexican spots in SF.
