A somewhat intimate bistro on Fillmore Street which serves excellent French and Italian cuisine. We have dined there many times and never been disappointed. The only negative is that it is hard to park in the neighborhood so consider taking Uber.

Great dinner at a cute table for 8 in our own private room. Would definitely go back. Steak au poivre was delish!

Excellent service. The manager went above and beyond to help me with my requests. Our server was friendly, delightful and very knowledgeable about the menu. Couldn't have been better!

Nice atmosphere and attentive server, somewhat surly host. Had wanted to stop in for months. Chicken Milanese special was decent not great somewhat dry breaded and reasonable in size and quantity but average in taste quality. The killer was the Romain salad, which was probably 2 ounces of Romain lettuce with some cheese, sprinkled on top and three croutons for $16. That felt like we were being taken to the bank. Wines by the glass were of decent quality, and we own a wine bar so we’re very much aware but small in size probably around 4 ounces a pour though there were at least a few selections to choose from by the Glass, which was a nice plus.

Second time here, fantastic experience! Food was rich, complex, full of flavor! Staff were delightful. pace was perfect for 4 leisurely courses. Salads and pastas very, very reasonable. So ambient! Like a bistro in Prague or Budapest! Will be going back next weekend if we are lucky to eat the same meal again, it was that good!

Enjoyed a pre-event dinner at one of our favorite SF Bistros! Love the look and feel of Florio! Been dining here for more than 10 years and NEVER get tired of it. The kitchen is consistently good, service is always friendly and the bar serves great cocktails! Love it!

They welcomed us early and sat us at a very quiet table then proceeded to feed us treats: minestrone soup & meatball dish, then mushroom salad & Brussels sprouts, then raviolis while pairing them with unique red & white wines. Finishing with bread pudding paired with espresso and a flight of 3 different amaretto liqueurs. Paradise

Order two types of steak medium rare. Filet mignon was overcooked and hanger steak was undercooked.

Loved the ambiance and food. Services a tad slow but it was super busy! We celebrated our daughters 21st and it was so lovely. Meat balls we're out of this world! Can't wait to return!

We sat in the private little room. Perfect for 7 people . Peter was an AWESOME waiter. We all had a great time.

Florio is a grounded, Italian-leaning San Francisco bistro that sticks to fundamentals done well. The Steak au Poivre was our anchor dish and comes with a brandy peppercorn sauce that delivers on pepper and depth not cream. The olive oil cake was excellent and closed out the meal without any heaviness. The room is warm, service is steady. Reliable, classic, and worth returning.

We arrived a bit early for our 7:30 reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter had quite a few tables, but was able to take care of us quickly for the most part. The food was excellent. The only downside was the noise; my friend and I could barely hear each other sitting across from each other. By the time we left at 9:30 the restaurant had quieted down quite a bit. I love the food here, but would probably try to come early next time to avoid peak noise.

Everything was so delicious and the chef was kind of wonderful to cook something as directed by my guest. I love this place

Florio never disappoints! From the service to the drinks to the food - all amazing every time we dine there!

Delighted your superb minestrone is now back on the menu. Should be a featured starter now until spring. Our favorite pepper steak entree was the best ever last night.
