The person who took my order, and seemed to be responsible for calling orders out to customers as they were ready for pick up was extremely rude and unpleasant to interact with. From the start of my order to trying to guess which of the 20 people in waiting had ordered a latte with no name being called out, I have to ask, what was the point of them asking for my name in the first place? This is not the first time, nor second or even third, time I’ve ordered from Flywheel on Stanyon and had the order taker speak to me, and other customers, as if we are complete idiots trying to figure out whose beverage is whose when they fail to vocalize and organize beverages ready for pick up. Very disappointed and rather disturbed by the lack of service from those behind the bar.

High quality coffee with low quality customer service experience. Mostly Aloof or loud/obnoxious people providing “service”. Get your coffee to go

Great coffee & definitely recommend any beverage. I've tried every pastry in that glass case in the hopes of finding a good one and I can't say I'm a fan of any of them. They're unfortunately all some level of dry or bland. Also, no oven available so you have to eat them cold. Please get a new supplier because they are BAD!

All of the baristas talk to you like they want to kill you. I don't know how they found so many people with the same demeanor. It's not a huge deal, but it's something a couple regulars and I have noticed.

The atmosphere is a good working atmosphere and it's not too hard to find or wait for a table most hours. Dog friendly and the regular dogs are cute and well trained. Free WiFi for two hours, then you have to buy something to get a new code (god forbid a pastry). Wheelchair accessible (but uneven concrete floor tiles in some places so watch out).

Coffee is good but what is surprising is the attitude of some of the staff. Very unfriendly to many customers and they do it it appears knowingly. Strange.

Late was a disappointment. It tasted like milk. It was either too little espresso or it was too weak. 15 min before the closer they refused to serve late in mugs (probably because it would be too much hustle to wash). I'm not going there again.

I’m in a predicament every time I come here. It’s definitely the closest cafe to my place but I swear I have the exact same experience here every time. The baristas are too cool for school, and give off the “I know more about coffee than you” hipster vibe. I’ve been a barista for 7 years, I know what a freaking cortado is. So rude even to my husband for simply asking if a drink is his. I get that they’re high volume, but I’d never be able to get away with a snarky and condescending attitude towards a customer. BUT, anything you order there is truly delicious, so they definitely know what they’re doing. Without a doubt top quality coffee. Owners just need to do something about the attitude here, and maybe it’d be the perfect cafe.

Great atmosphere and coffee. Unfortunately, the quality of service does not match. They consistently provide slow and inattentive service.

If you're looking for a great cup of coffee in a modern and upscale atmosphere and don't care about speedy and attentive service then this is your place.

I personally place a higher value on service and will settle for a lesser quality product for that.

Lattes are really good, best option down this end of Haight. It tends to be overcrowded though and someone in line is always doing something annoying to block the entry doorway which is too small.

Great coffee but they need to hire more staff. Expect to be standing in line a long time in the mornings
