I went here all the time for ice coffee. I even bought a mug from them. One day I forgot that’s my mug so I put it back their dish rack. I came back to ask for it. They said it’s gone and attempt to sell me a new one. Also the coffee has gotten weaker and weaker. The outdoor seating is nice but I’m not sure whether its worthy after all. One of the best third wave coffees in the Bay Area, a consistent excellent medium roast espresso, as well as an interesting selection of pastries. The space is industrial chic, with the roasting machines in the back of the space. Not too busy in the early morning
Four Barrels is exceptional in most regards, but where it counts the most is in their roast offerings and those are world class. I had a chance to stop by this summer for a mocha and it was superb. Don't miss a chance to stop if you have the chance, and do yourself a favor by picking up a bag of beans as well.
