The food was amazing... the halibut was perfect and the house-made panna cotta was the best I've ever had. But what really impressed me was the service. 3 or 4 different waitstaff tended to me, and all knew that my coffee was decaf, even though I only told one of them. The atmosphere was cozy... love the window seats where you can watch the cable cars go by. I don't ever write reviews, but this restaurant truly inspired me.

My wife and I were visiting San Francisco on vacation and discovered this gem! From the moment we entered we were greeted and sat on the balcony table. The staff were attentive and very helpful with suggestions. I had the roast chicken which was probably the best chicken dish I have ever eaten. The crispy skin and tender meat covered in the delicious marinade / sauce was outstanding. We finished off with the pecan pie which I could eat everyday for the rest of my life!!! This is restaurant is adorable, quaint, yet elegant and feels like a treat to yourself. The food is excellent; amazing fettuccine, wonderful filet, great wine, and the homemade desserts are marvelous! We recommend this restaurant to all our friends.

Frascati has been our favorite San Francisco restaurant for years now as much for the service as for the food. They never treat you as just a diner. They treat you as important, someone worth remembering, and they always do, even if through circumstances we don't get back there for almost a year. And the staff are almost always the same which tells me they treat them with the same respect as their guests. The food is excellent, no cocktails but a huge beer and wine selection. And do not skip desserts under any circumstances or you will regret it.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Frascati on a recent week night. We arrived early and landed a window seat. Our waiter, an Italian man from Venice, was very friendly and attentive, I wish I could remember his name! I had the roast chicken, my husband had the cod, and we shared the gnocchi appetizer. All of it was delicious. We have been here before, but it's been a while. It is definitely nicer on a less-crowded week night. We will definitely be back!
Always a dinner spot for the two of us when we are in San Francisco. Last night (Wednesday) was busy with a large, loud group. Nothing suffered. Food prep, service & staff were excellent as always, whether they are busy or not.

This is our go to place. This place on Hyde Street is a real classic San Francisco place, cable cars rumbling past and a super chill vibe. Loads of great food choices, all really Great , and the staff are just lovely. Quick service, good atmosphere... easy spot to relax and enjoy the city. The noise level is a little bit higher than I would like. I guess that's because it's such a busy spot. Sources

We love for Scotty! Anytime guest join us or we have a free night out, for Scotty is one of our go to spots. Great wine food ambience and John and Rebecca are the greatest hosts!!  don't forget to try some of Rebecca‘s homemade desserts which are absolutely divine !
