Been here several times and I keep really wanting to like this place but it’s just not very tasty. I don’t mind the unusually high prices so much because it’s SF, but it’s the food that leaves me sad. I strongly prefer other Mediterranean spots

I really did not enjoy my meal. It was too heavy on the salt. I also did not feel like the environment was comforting or welcoming.

Absolutely delicious food - get their grilled chicken, as well as their platter to share (hummus, muhammara, everything is amazing!). They also have a few yummy desserts available and falafel/vegetarian options are outstanding as well.

I’m not a huge hummus fan, but the hummus was creamy, light, and delicious. 👌🏻 The muhammara was good too, but I didn’t really like the baba ghanouj. Manisf rolled bites was also very good so I recommend getting it.

Criminally tiny portion sizes! $9 soup portion was at most 4oz - think 1/3 of a can of soda. $17 salad portion was the size of 2 decks of playing cards. A little bit more than I could hold in one hand. This is not an exaggeration. Portions were literally that minuscule. Service was also bad. But they have pretty ceramics, nice atmosphere, and it tasted good. I'll never return to be ripped off again.

Came here for my birthday dinner with friends and had a bad experience. Firstly, my friend is vegan and was politely asking if the pita bread was vegan and the waitress was so rudely questioning her how pita bread could be non-vegan instead of just saying yes. She had a really bad attitude and then when she came to serve dip she dropped it by accident and the whole bowl splattered over me. Then after that the whole staff started acting nice to us but at that point it was past the point. Overall bad hospitality and food was just ok

Our party of four came on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. Neighborhood parking is a bit challenging due to the popularity of the area with all the businesses there, but we found a 2 hr. spot (enforced until 9pm) after a couple loops. We ordered the house sampler plate, shish kabob, beet salad, the zahara bil tahini (cauliflower), halloumi, chicken shawarma, and for dessert, we had kanafeh, qatayef, halawa o buza. Everything, including the complimentary Palestinian dips with pita chips, was absolutely delicious- fresh and beautifully presented. It was hard to pick a favorite but I really liked the cauliflower! Two members of my party ordered a mocktail called Cinderella, and they were raving about it. The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures; we were too excited. I did remember while we were waiting for dessert, so there is one dessert picture in this review.

Our server, Lina, was attentive and very kind, and the other servers and staff were also very nice, professional, and polite. It was obvious that the staff wanted us to have a wonderful evening and we truly did. It is a very welcoming restaurant with lovely decor, excellent food and nice people. We can’t wait to come back and try more items!

lovely spot for freshly made Middle Eatern dishes. We were impressed with every dish and Lebanese beer!

I don’t know what happened. I’ve had multiple amazing experiences here but today I had the one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had ever. I don’t think it’s on the server I think it’s the fact she’s probably overworked.

They were out of the shaksuka. So I asked are you out of eggs, after all there’s still an egg shortage. And she was immediately defensive over it. I was flustered and overwhelmed and had no clue what I wanted.

I ordered some omelette that for some
Reason had nothing that was listed on the menu, it was bland and overcooked. I didn’t touch it. She didn’t ask if anything was wrong, or if it was ok. Nothing. I had maybe one bite. I was also never asked if I wanted a drink or something else to eat. (I did.). I wasn’t expecting them to remove it from the bill I just wanted her to ask me if I thought it was ok. I felt like I was doing something wrong. We still tipped. I don’t like causing trouble but I’m very disappointed in the service but also my meal. My husbands food was fine.

It's okay, there are better ones in sf.

I rarely leave restaurant reviews because they are so subjective but this place is outstanding. Food, service, atmosphere all top notch in The Mission. We come to the Mission for burritos and will be coming back for Freekeh!

Went here with a friend and we split a ton of dishes! Super cute place to eat out with some tables in the back outside surrounded by cute lights. It was good but I’ve had better Mediterranean food at better prices elsewhere- this place is pricey for pretty small portions so I’d recommend getting more dishes and splitting with friends. They gave a very generous amount of pita bread! My friend’s favorite dish was the falafel wraps and mine was probably the roasted cauliflower. The beet salad was what you’d expect- it was good but nothing more than the sum of its parts. The salmon skewer had perfectly cooked salmon but I think it was missing some seasoning… admittedly, I didn’t use the yogurt so that probably would’ve helped because it’s very plain without it. Definitely some salt on the salmon would’ve been nice.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and they have a wide variety of hearty vegan options. If the restaurant reads this, one suggestion would be to upgrade the heaters on the back patio as they aren't quite warm enough.
