What a delightful surprise! Kids and I were looking for a quick bite and ventured inside to a food court. My expectations were pretty low entering the building, but I was blown away when we happened upon Fresca Garden! We were greeted with such warmth and kindness, and a delicious fragrance of fresh garlic. I was guided to exactly to the order we wanted. And it was Happy Hour so a Heineken was only $4! As were the giant basket of perfectly crispy and seasoned thin cut fries (my favorite). Pizza was a thinner crust, and full of flavor. Delicious! The ambience was impressive, too. Even the napkins were nicer than I would’ve expected! Bravo and well done to the owners and management of this establishment! It was the perfect way to end our adventure today. Thank you!
Vegetarian options: We had pepperoni, but the plain cheese pizza also must be delicious! Great salads, too. French fries were amazing.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect for pre/post-movie bite.
Good was good. No complaints there. But the older gentleman at the counter was very rude. Made an online order, and he made a stink that he never got it, was impatient and started telling me I must have ordered somewhere else. Long story short he did get the order. Didn't apologize or anything. I know it's late and you're tired. But it's the same for others. Be kind to your customers.

Fresca Garden isn’t just a great place for pizza and fries—it’s run by one of the most genuine and kind-hearted people I’ve met. Zad, the owner, quietly goes out of his way to make customers feel valued.
One day, I saw Zad offer a woman, who may have been homeless, two sodas and a safe place to sit. Another customer had earlier spent $8 to buy her a pizza, and Zad decided to carry on the kindness by making sure she felt welcome. When I complimented him on his kindness, he explained that he believes we’re all brothers and sisters, and it’s simply the right thing to do. He even shared that he regularly takes 10–14 pizzas out to feed the homeless after work—not as a boast, but as a reminder of what it means to care for others.
Fresca is unassuming, but the generosity of its owner makes it unforgettable. If you’re in the Metreon, this is the spot to grab a bite—and maybe leave with more than just a meal.

I just ordered pizza from this pizzeria. And the owner of this pizzeria is really rude. When I ordered he looked at me like he was going to beat me and never smiled. He was very rude. I was met with disrespect that I have never encountered before. And the pizza was really bad. I am really upset for the money I paid, I do not recommend it to anyone. ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Persian gentleman (I believe he’s the owner) is fantastic, providing exceptional customer service. He recommended a special Persian-style pizza, and it was hands-down the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is incredibly kind. Absolutely 100% recommended!

I recently visited Fresca Garden and had an outstanding experience. The staff member who assisted us was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I ask to make a change to a menu item and the gentlemen working at the register told me it was not a problem. So I ordered my chicken and cheese ? ? pizza and the cook obliged. That pizza turned out so ? tasty that I went back 3 times on a 3 day visit. When I go back to San Francisco, I will be going to get my chicken pizza hold the bbq sauce!
