Spent $160 on steaks, pork and chicken. All the meat was bad except the pork. Very disappointing and a waste of money

The staff are very helpful and the prices are good. Never had a bad experience here, and I stop by pretty often to buy meat for making my dog's food. Their prices make it more affordable than feeding kibble!

Your classic old school butcher. Affordable prices and great selection of meats and seafoods. Also, every employee seems to be (at least) trilingual—very cool!What I love most is that they have *A LOT* of Asian sauces, condiments and spices. It’s a one stop shop! If your recipe calls for something that you can’t get at an American grocery store like Safeway, Whole Foods, Gus’s etc, they most likely carry it.Went here to get meat for Adobo and they carry Datu Puti (Filipino brand) soy cause and vinegar! Key ingredients for making authentic Filipino adobo.I also was able to get a jar of char siu sauce for char siu and hot mustard.Worth noting: 65-75% of the time you order meat they will give you half a pound more than what you ask for. I started ordering half a pound less than what I actually need so I get the exact amount needed. This doesn’t put me off from coming back, I honestly appreciate the hustle
If I could give these characters 0 stars I would but I want my review to post. I ordered a fish some mussels and crab legs. Which they bagged. When it came to paying they refused to take my money??? It took 3 of these MoFo's to tell me that the reason they wouldn't take my money was because they don't take old money??? What kind of business are they running? And what kind of $&$@!! Is this??? Never had this happen to me before. So I am fuming, I proceeded to walk out and one of the women working there yelled out Byyyyyeeee!!! If she was being sassy with me, she is lucky I kept my freakin cool.... They lost a customer. Never going back there again. Walked across the street and got my seafood fix there. Ridiculous!!And NO your employee who spoke Spanish clearly told me she didn't know why you didn't take old bills. I questioned whether it was counterfeit and both employees said no. Sorry to bust your bubble ALBERTO I doubt BofA would issue fake bills. All you had to say was we have no change. Or some other BS. Because that was clearly the problem. I didn't have the 18 cents, and you just flat out refused to issue change. POOR Customer Service. PERIODThe other seafood market checked the same bill and had no problem taking it.

Have you ever been to an ole fashion meat and sea food market as a kid? I have found my new market for all of my meat and sea food. They also carry frozen boat for fishing. The prices beat all the supermarkets and the meat os super fresh. I love the customer service so much I wish I could give them 10 stars. This place is clean, fresh, busy, and just fun to shop in. So, for great prices, delicious food, customer service beyond the stars, and just great memories I truly recommend this meat market. In my most humble opinion the greatest in San Francisco.

I really do like this place I go all the time but I have to make sure I wear gloves because when they pick the meat with their bare hands or gloves they also take your card swipe it and give you back your card with all the meat juice from different meats all over your card and all over the bags ...so you need to sanitize your card sanitize your hands so you don't get any salmonella or whatever comes from raw meat
