It's amazing that this store continues to pretend to operate like a liquor store. The amount of illegal and violent crime that operates out of and in front of this operation is wild. Police here daily. Please do the neighborhood a favor, stop selling poison to the community.

As a Massage Therapist- their selection of essential oils, like Lavender, Rosemary & more are invaluable to my practice. The location saves time and $, when otherwise I would spend 30-45 mins going across town for a last minute bottle of sage oil. Now it takes me 5 minutes. Thanks FM!

This place is great! If you need Asian ingredients (wonton wrappers, dumpling wrappers, Thai chilies, etc), this place is the move! It's small, but a friendly family-owned spot. I also was able to pick up all sorts of sauces and pastes, and fresh basil and cilantro! Great, cheap place to get what you need to make a mean Thai, Chinese, or Vietnamese meal :).
4.5 stars! The trouble it took me trying to buy red curry paste, trust me, you don't know. But then again, I'm new here and was looking in the wrong places to start off. After complaining to my friend for a couple days with fail, he drove me here to get what I needed. And when it comes to Asian cooking ingredients, it's most likely you'll find it here. It's small family owned type of store, they have fresh produce as well. Only downfall would be like trying to purchase ginger or shallots that come in rather big bags that I'm probably not gonna be using all of and end up wasting without options of purchasing them individually. But if you're looking for Asian cooking goods this is your spot! And I'm so happy I found one in the area, FINALLY! :)

Very friendly staff. I came specifically to find wonton and dumpling skins. They had what I was looking for. The store was small but well stocked. The surrounding areas weren't the safest but I was able to get a Lyft to and from the store.

Ive heard good things about Friendly Market. And decided to stop by after work since they've reopened. Very classy shop. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly staff. They had exactly what I needed. Either the owner (or someone that helps run the shop) shook my hand and chatted me up. I'll definitely be going back to shop in the future and tell my friends to as well.

I had an exceptional experience with the friendly staff at the Friendly market. They are super helpful and informative and helped me find exactly what I needed. I especially love the hemp canvas padded pipe sleeves it's so great not having to carry my pipe around in a brown paper sack anymore! It's a must go!!

Tldr - I shop here and I love it. As a seasoned ethnic grocer, I have come to terms with the fact that the best quality groceries and goods come from the worst quality establishments. Trap house kaffir lime leaves are the best kaffir lime leaves. That being said, this place is not nearly trap house quality in establishment but the grocery ranks HELLA close.
