Fung Wong SF delivered an incredible family-style banquet dinner, with every single dish being absolutely delicious! The highlight of the night was without a doubt the juicy Peking duck, cooked to perfection with crispy skin and tender meat. The fried chicken wings were hot, crispy, and packed with flavor, while the salt and pepper pork was easily one of the best I’ve had.
One of my personal favorites, the honey walnut shrimp, was executed flawlessly—crispy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. My kids and the entire family loved everything that came out of the kitchen. Even a slight power outage couldn’t take away from the experience—we were too busy enjoying our amazing meal!
If you’re looking for authentic, top-tier Chinese food, Fung Wong SF is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back for another feast!

Overall: A standard fare Chinese restaurant.
The extended review...
- Went family style on this meal and got some typical pork and veggie dishes. We also had some dishes that may not be ordered so often like steamed egg and salted fish pork. All tasted pretty standard fare.
- Standard service.
- A typical chinese restaurant vibe.

Solid neighborhood spot for some Cantonese food if you are in the area. The menu is wide and everything we tried was delicious. Good for a quick meal or having big family dinners as this spot provides seating for both. Highly recommend their roasted duck, it was so so juicy.

Small portions. Overall eatable. Food was better before. Service is not bad when there's only a few tables.
Parking: Go 1 block away, there's free street parking.
Kid-friendliness: They've got high chairs, don't know about boosters.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access.

Just okay with everything, food, service and so on. But the French toast suggested use the thick cut whole toast not the sliced one. (Personal opinion)

Tried this place for dinner and breakfast. Definitely come for breakfast/lunch combos and the rice rolls but do come early as it gets really busy. We had wontons and noodles for dinner and the wontons were delicious, not so much the noodles. The big clam with rice noodles was also a hit. They pile up on the clam meat. The Fujian chow mi was decent but it was cooked in ketchup which we are not a fan of. For lunch, we ordered wontons again, this time with beef brisket and sans noodles. The beef brisket was dry. The toast and pork chop combo was okay but probably would just order toast alone next time. Their purple rice rolls are tasty but if you get it with shrimp, you only get 4 small ones, mostly green onion filling. Will try a different filling next time. Overall, great value for the amount during breakfast/lunch hours but just know what to order or it might be a miss.

food is just average, sometimes are below average. Service is definitely below average - slow and understaffed.
Beef rice rolls are particularly unpalatable
The fish smells like it has been aged for a long time
Duck is average
Won't come again

Service is bad, whatever service that you need like extra forks, napkins, extra hot or cold water. Tell the waitress at the time of your order otherwise you will not get them until later. After all, it’s a Chinese run business.
Really bad experience, we were ignored by the servers. We were seating for a while. No one came to take our order but food was being delivered to a table that came after us. That never happened to me before. We left.

A pretty solid Chinese restaurant in the area! They have a lot of specials including a $20 lobster meal that can easily feed 4! The rice rolls are also very good too and decently priced around $6 each! They also have Hong Kong style Milt tea with a nice little bear ice cube on it, although I heard they charge $0.50 if you order a takeout cup on it? Other than that, this restaurant mainly serves great dishes like beef and broccoli and Honey will not shrimp that you usually would share with the table, there's even baked options such as spaghetti and rice as well, and french fries and hamburgers that are American inspired! The waiter staff were really nice and It was easy to order and make recommendations. They also have a cash discount if you choose to pay it that way. Otherwise they would have a normal fee if you pay with a card and they do not accept discover or American Express...
Parking: Look around for any meters... Enforcement is often and trying to hide at the Safeway doesn't count...
