Any word when/if they’ll reopen? This is my favorite SF restaurant!

This place is the best French food I have ever had. Great service and location

Unfortunately one of the absolute rudest servers I've ever come across. I was with my mom who asked for ketchup with her fries. Now I appreciate that the restaurant may have been offended by this ask and understand that may have been the case. If so, fair enough however the server's response was completely inappropriate. He came out with a side plate and one dot of ketchup in the middle and sneered while delivering the plate. Again, if offense was taken by this request, I wish that had been addressed in a respectable manner versus how it was handled.

This is probably one of the most underrated restaurants in SF. Cozy, authentic and delicious French food. I'm veg and try to avoid dairy. I always get the ratatouille. Great food doesn't have to be complicated and this dish always delivers for me!

I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are delicious and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we pass a gorgeous evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Really fantastic find. Amazing ingredients and passionate cook (I think owner) and staff. Taste is by rich ingredients, not by a ton of additives. Atmosphere is casual but super cozy. And yet prices and portion sizes are great. One of my faves in SF!

Been dying to come here for a long time and I was not disappointed. We got there around 3 on a Friday and it was full. The only two seats available (this place is TINY and there are no tables - only counter seats that face the mirrored wall or the kitchen) faced the wall and that was fine, but almost immediately two seats facing the kitchen opened and we were able to switch.

I just liked their food. I always get great service here. The place is well organised and the cashiers are always nice. Would recommend to others.

Andy/Andreas and Olivier(Frenchman) and the other gentleman gave us 10/10 service the spaghetti carbonara was incredible and I was recommended thus pepper seasoning to make it spicy. The basic burger was amazing and the escargot was a treat I will never forget. Left the biggest % tip I've probably ever left. I will be bsck anytime I'm around

Great ambiance, good food. Long wait even though reservations were made. Manager made up for it with a free round of drinks.

Gamine is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with great food and a great ambiance. Everything on the menu is amazing. We come here for dinner every time we're in San Francisco. We've always had great service each time we've come.

I've been dining here for the past decade. Lovely neighborhood spot, serving incredible French food. Prices are reasonable and every dish is delicious. Will continue to be my go to for French food even though I now live in Marin.

Stumbled upon this spot one evening and had a great dinner. The roasted chicken and the carbonara pasta were great, but the escargot was excellent. The wine was good too. I recommend the Rhone red to help cut some of that French cuisine richness. Bonus points for the nice people that work there.
