Best Katsu in San Francisco!! I had Ganji Katsu. Very generous portion. Very tender meat inside with Crispy coating outside. Will be back to try other stuff on the menu soon!!

Tried Ganji for the first time and it was pretty good. The portions are fairly large and filling, with a nice assortment of sides. We ordered the mushroom tempura which was really good. Most of our party ordered the cheese tonkasu. I feel like the cheese didn’t add too much to the dish. The pork was really tender and tasty though. If I were to go back I’d get it without the cheese.

Ganji is one of those places with heart.

The staff at Ganji are friendly and demonstration attention to detail.

On a number of occasions they have brought us extra pickles as well as different pickles they have been trying out. Which was fun and appreciated.

The slow cooked tonkatsu covered in cheese is awesome. It as well as the general experience keep me coming back for more.
