Zapatos (their version of burritos) are great. Beer selection is wide and overall, the vibe is pretty nice here. However, the front staff really want to leave by closing time; meaning, they start passively asking people to leave an hour+ before closing time. Not normally a stickler for service, but I experienced being shooed out on multiple occasions so I thought it might be worth mentioning that FYI not the most hospitable.

Best burritos in the city, if not the country. Seriously EXCELLENT food. Wish I could give it 6 stars.As the name implies, it kinda feels like being in a cool garage. Lots of old rock band posters, big metal signs for old gas station companies and car brands. Very nice theming.Also, very reasonable prices. Plenty of food for the money, but doesn’t feel like they’re overdoing it or going for quantity over quality. Just right, value-wise!Overall, it’s the GOAT quick service restaurant in SF in my book. Phenomenal!

I find myself going to Garaje at least once a week. If you are looking for a casual spot to grab a few drinks with great food, look no further! I have tried several items on the menu and the food is always incredible. I love the combination of American and Mexican. The burgers are like a gourmet In-N-Out burger, but better.. and the chips and salsa are a must!Most importantly the service is great and the staff is super friendly. Victor is what takes the Garaje experience to the next level. He is always so friendly and energetic, which is the number one reason we continuously go back to Garaje.Good food and great vibes!! Highly recommend!

I rarely comment on service unless it’s horrible or excellent and this time it was excellent so happy to make a note of it. Our server was friendly and attentive and always had a smile on his face, what a pleasure as it’s not to be taken for granted! Food was solid, we had the burger, Mac and cheese (one of the better ones I’ve had), and Brussels sprouts (a bit too charred for me but vinegary flavor was enjoyable).

Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in a while! I know people come here for the burrito type foods but please try the chicken sandwich! It was a huge piece of tender chicken on a buttery bun, with lettuce tomato and pickles and a nice sauce. Crispy and fresh and perfect amount of food for lunch. I was not stuffed nor hungry after. To get a table you must come at 12 when they open. Very long lines as soon as they open. A decent amount of tables inside and wait for food was not that long. You order and get a number and sit down and then bring the food to you. I would love to come here again.
This is a hidden gem. The food is great, though the menu is a little confusing on first glance. Thankfully there is a better menu as you head towards the back to order.Portion size is pretty big so bring a big appetite.Staff is quick to clean tables so even though it’s often packed it’s not hard to find a table.
