Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. Honestly these folks should turn into a full fledged restaurant.

A good place for healthy options. A bit pricey though especially for salads without protein.

It has four names as if it’s a fugitive ; but patrons climb steep hill to come to this temple of middle eastern food ; best dish is hummus but the rest burns all my orifices and had to call the fire department . Love the scenery around this place .

Take - Out ONLY: While their food is slightly above average for SF, and they have many healthy options, the place is nothing more than a take-out counter --- with nowhere to sit while you wait.
Given that, paying $11-12 for a cup of mediocre soup or almost $20 for a so-so salad bowl seems rather steep. Their gluten free version of teh chicken soup is basically only broth with a tea spoon of carrots, and maybe half an ounce of rather overcooked chicken. I also tried their lentil balls and didn't care for the flavor or texture - not the fact that they are topped with literally burned black onion charcoals.
On the plus side, their staff is really friendly and efficient.

If you accept up front that this is NOT a restaurant, it is a ghost kitchen, it doesn't get much better than GastrobotEats. They "are" Sumac SF (Medditeranean), Saucy Salads, and Soupchu ... so you can mix and match across three menus. We went with the mezze platter from Sumac SF (five vegetarian options) with meatballs and chicken. The pita is awesome, everything was fresh and warm, and the service at pickup was great. Note that it is on a busy street-corner, there is no obvious spot to park, but pickup was quick and painless. The food was great, and we'll be back for pickup. UberEats and GrubHub drivers were all over the place, but our food was ready exactly when they said it would be.

Vegetarian options: Not just vegetarian, but gluten-free options. If you don't want pita, you can get vegetable sticks. They put the meats on salads or rice for GF folks, and most dishes are vegetarian.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options for many dishes.

Decent place I often DoorDash from when craving soup - I’ve had their variations of lentil soup and while it was good, it can use a bit more
