Best Spumoni I've ever had, granted it was years ago but I had to give a shout out to this ice cream shop

Stopped by while waiting for Tony's Pizza. The flavors we had today were Raspberry and Lychee, which complimented each other very well. Wished the portion size was a bit bigger.

Yummy affogato! Great treat on a sunny afternoon in NB. Been going here for over 20 years:)

I cannot speak to the quality of the gelato here because I was ordered to leave multiple times, in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. I walked in yesterday with my wife and my small service dog, wearing a harness and secured in his carrier. The man at the counter immediately told me I needed to leave, in front of a crowded shop of people. I told him twice that I am disabled and my service dog is allowed to accompany me in public. He asked me to show a card or a badge or a vest - which the ADA does NOT require - and I told him that he was going against the ADA, and he insisted that I leave the shop.I had been enjoying a lovely date in North Beach and left feeling humiliated, excluded, and in a very dark place. I was up half the night obsessing over it despite my best efforts. I hope the owners of the store see this and learn from it - I'm including excerpts of the ADA which make clear that this behavior was against the law. I hope that no other disabled person has their day ruined like this, because it's hard enough out there - I can't believe I wasn't allowed to remain in the shop for the sixty seconds it would have taken to purchase our gelato and go on with our date, because someone felt so strongly about putting a disabled person in their place. Definitely one to avoid if you're disabled, or have a sense of solidarity for people who are!

My top favorite gelato place in the city! I always bring my family and friends here when they come visit! They love it every time. I've been coming here for well over 10 years and it has always been great. This place brings back lots of memories and I love it. This place has a special spot in my heart because my late grandmother and I used to come here a lot.

The person who was serving was very rude. I kindly asked "Sir I'm curious what's your favorite flavor?" He responded with the most d*** founded face and responded with "strawberry and I'm not the one paying for it. You would know what you would like" I walked out.
we walk by there, lucky we got Wednesday happy hours deal. small cup price got medium cup

Lots of great memories pre pandemic. Question, is the store still opened ? Went there today (Sunday 12pm ) but it's closed.

Go to gelato spot & more allergy friendly than a lot of places in North Beach. All the flavors are top quality and good service too.

One of the last gems of San Francisco, a treasure to be remember as the times change and people become more picky. Those who don't know this history should know that Gelato Classico was a chain that has been around since the 80s slowly dissolving until this was the last location left in downtown. I hope people start to appreciate the history of this great city as it is slowly eroded away by time and gentrification. Some of the best gelato you can get in America hands down. Please go and support this business and Trader Vics/Cordon Blue if you are a local or a tourist! Keep the memories alive, you wont regret it!
