A very good experience. The restaurant is a very nostalgic restaurant. The steak was not overcooked and the baked potatoes were very soft and cooked. The portion size and price are definitely great value.

T-bone Steak was tougher than Michelin Tire. Wasted $50+ for 2. Informed them of how tough the Steak was. Reponse was, "Okay, I'll let my boss know" The End!

They should put the hours right, they are at 8:11 and they are already closed and on the website it says 8:30
My new favorite place. Large sit-down dinners for only $14 to $23! Included with the meat entrée is a substantial side salad of deep green romaine lettuce with lots of veggies piled on top, bread done on the grill and baked potato OR golden buttery rice.
My meat has been properly cooked every time. Good service. I like the way the restaurant operates. Only teeny complaint is that I wish blue cheese dressing was an option.
This place is super well-connected for taking the bus.

I am a tourist from Japan. The best steak house in the city. reasonable, delicious, friendly, long history.I feel America so much.
I went here once with my son, and after we sat down, and ordered we started looking around at the inside of the restaurant, and we both wondered how this place passed the health inspection. The meal was the sub par meal, and the steak was almost on the burned side, and had we not been rushed to get back to our job site, we would have left. If you don't have the time to go somewhere else, or if you are limited on your eating out budget, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Remember: This is just my opinion.

Been coming to this place since I was a kid. Food is just as delicious today as it was back in the 80's when I used to come here with my parents. The NY steak & the yellow rice...can't beat it. This place will ALWAYS be a hometown favorite.
Parking: Parking is really sketchy. I suggest not going alone for pick up. Have someone with you so one can hop out & get the food & the other can bend the block while you get it. If you're dining in...good luck. There's a parking lot around back if you prefer to dine in but it's a coin toss if it's open or not & if it's open @ its dark outside hopefully you're not alone cuz it can be a scary walk.

Great no frills steak house in the neighborhood.Very simple but to the point menu.Asked for a very rare steak, came through and was well seasoned and of good quality.2 steak meals with beer is $60, which is a great value!Interior design is humble and welcoming. Feels like you are transported to a movie set in the early 70s or 80s.My only notes: drafts appear to be misaligned. Beer tasted a little flat.Would definitely come here again, and recommend others to try it too.

Had a great Christmas dinner here once with my friends Los and A. Steak sandos all around. Buttery buns, perf steak, red leather banquettes. So good❣️

Right on the corner of Mission and Geneva I found Geneva Steak. I walked into the dining room and looking at the seating reminded me of a classic restaurant with red leather booths all around. I look at the menu on the wall and went for the French Burger, the order included a green salad and my choice of baked potato or rice pilaf. The burger was cooked fresh to order and while my order was being prepared I started with the salad, fresh iceberg lettuce, sliced carrots, red onions, peppers, tomatoes and ranch dressing, the French Burger came soon after, the plate was served by the Chef, a rectangular large bun that was soft and expertly toasted on the grill, usual burger setup, and the baked potato was split in half with melted butter on top. I was happy with the quality of the ingredients definitely a bargain for $13.99. The restaurant specializes on steaks, kabobs and bbq chicken. They have a selection of soft drinks, beers on tap, bottle beer. The place was clean and nice service all around.

I liked it: firstly, there are few people here, it’s quiet, cozy, there’s no fuss or loud music, the fan is working, it’s clean, the service is fast. secondly, it’s quite tasty: fresh vegetables in the salad, properly cooked steak to order. Thank you.
