Delicious khinkali and Adjarian khachapuri, haven’t tried the wine, we still need to work on the atmosphere of Georgia and it will be absolutely excellent!

This is a good place to try their cheese dishes. The Georgian beer was actually pretty good and served with a cold glass (good). The waiter was nice and the food was good. It is a small place, probably good to go with friends to eat something and have a beer.

To set the premise, I was born and raised in the Caucasus region and I know the actual flavors and dishes. I very rarely post negative comments, but I have never been so disappointed with my food, especially Georgian food! I am in SF on a work trip and decided to order lamb Khinkali with some Adjika (my hotel is 0.5 miles away from the restaurant). First off, the Khinkali were inedible. Whatever spice was used, it is not the traditional spice and is very overpowering and simply not good. The dough on the other hand had no flavor whatsoever. Secondly, the chili oil that I paid $6 for is in no way to be called Adjika. I am sad that inexperienced people trying this food will have a wrong impression of the amazing dishes that exist in Georgian culture and will not be open to trying it ever again.
