Ordered takeout from here and was super impressed with how well the food / flavors were kept. I enjoyed the classic gyudon with poached egg, which featured a light dashi broth, cuts of beef, green onions, caramelized onions, light seaweed, and of course a juicy poached egg.

Pricing is fairly reasonable considering it's SF, and quality of rice was notably good. My friend REALLY enjoyed the unajyu / unagyu don!

Honestly just writing this review so I don’t forget about this place. I don’t know how they managed to make their katsu stay crispy throughout delivery, but they done did it. Highly recommend!

Just discovered this place while walking the dog and thought I’d give it a shot. Awesome discovery! Very friendly greeter who prepared my meal immediately while I’m sure he had other online orders to fulfill. Got the pork katsu and rice - crispy breading, great flavor, a LOT of food! I highly recommend Ginto!
