Fresh filled cannoli and espresso, delicious pizza slices, and creamy soft serve ice cream. Friendly guy behind the counter. They also sell Italian grocery staples like canned tomatoes, as well as cookbooks and souvenirs. They have a few tables in front to sit at, but Washington Square Park is also across the street. It’s a cute little spot for a quick snack.
Giovanni feels like a superb gallery of installation art imported from Italy ; the beautifully designed cans and bottles are tastefully placed amongst cool antique objects from mid century; the store pleases the eye; I was too mesmerized to eat; Best exercise in art design. I will return for their soft ice cream!

Check out the placement of items and all the old stuff from last century - such as sewing machine, noodle press, and other things.
Their espresso is very authentic and Cannoli is very addictive.
Plus, you can sit there and watch the park and church from not far. Such an enjoyment!
