Golden Chariot Bakery is a solid go-to spot in the Outer Richmond for fresh, delicious Chinese baked goods. I picked up a pineapple bun, coconut buns, BBQ pork bun, and egg tarts — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-made. The pineapple bun had that signature crispy top and pillowy interior, the coconut buns were soft with just the right touch of sweetness, and the BBQ pork bun was generously filled with savory-sweet char siu. The egg tarts contained a smooth custard with a flaky, buttery crust.

There’s a good variety of both sweet and savory options, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is consistently friendly and efficient.

Overall, a great neighborhood bakery that delivers quality and value. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Super delicious ? pineapple buns ??

The fresh out of the oven pineapple buns are the best I've had. We lived around the corner and would get them every morning when the store opens at 7am. I'm salivating just thinking about it. So good that you can peel the top off like a cookie.

When I was 6,7, 8 years old, this was my "reward" when I behaved. My papa and I would go everyday. I'm so so so happy they are still in business and it is such a treat to come back and visit. Best Chinese bakery in my opinion, hands down!

Literally my childhood! Awesome bakery serving the community for decades. Can't go wrong with the Cha Sui Baos!

Made a quick stop here. They were out of what I wanted to try, but still got an onion roll and it was very good. Will definitely go back.

Went there specifically for their wife cookies but none was available as they only make them on Thursdays & Saturdays. Ended up trying their sponge cake & cream filled bun. Both were good. I notice they were selling prepacked lunch boxes primary for students as the shop is located couple of blocks from a high school. There are different varieties of lunch at $5 per box.

Pork Buns... I'm sure they also sell other things too!
