Golden Era, one of my go to places. Not very busy for Saturday afternoon lunch Chow fun, crispy noodles $15.95 plus $2. Love the crispy noodles, nice contrast with gravy soaked veggies: Bok choy, carrot, broccoli, seitan meats, zucchini, cabbage, onion, mushroom, tofu, celery. Super tasty. This boy was hungry and knocked off the whole serving meant to feed more than one! Best part of eating in, super hot off the wok and crispy noodles don't get soggy! Nice ambience inside, outside the neighborhood not so much. Pretty safe during daylight hours. Close to the Asian Art museum
Loved the Mushu Rolls. The paratha was really good and I have never had that used in a wrap. The Sautéed basil eggplant and mushroom was amazing as was the pumpkin cheesecake
100% vegan and delicious, great menu including desserts!
Everything is delicious and people there are very kind. Please eat everything (THEY HAVE TOO MANY OPTIONS so you can go many times 😂)
Didn’t realize it until I sat down at this place but I ate here a couple years ago last time I was in town for the dead shows! This place is top notch and I can’t wait to make it back again. Love the spring rolls, the buhn xeo and the flan dessert is amazing. They have great drinks and I hope to try more of the menu!
Excellent fresh, speedy, abundant and delicious service!☺️
Really enjoyed the Chow fun Noodles and Potstickers. Serving size was perfect and flavors were spot on. Don't skip out on dessert - the Caramel Flan was amazing.
I don't know how many times I've eaten at Golden Era, but I can't wait for the next time.
One of the best vegan restaurants in san francisco

This was just fantastic. Great soups. Great spring rolls. We arrived late from DC and just managed to squeeze in an uber eats order. Food was still perfectly hot when it arrived.

Food is so good, and they are able to modify spice well which makes it great for vegan kids as well. Location next to Asian Art Museum is convenient.
There's so many vegan options here and sooooo delicious. I wish I had this in Michigan as I love Vietnamese food but wish there were more places that used mock meats as a former meat eater for that nostalgic taste. I still love all the tofu options though and they have some cool snack options like canned vegetarian pate and even hot dogs.

Edit: we went back and had crispy cauliflower, Indian fried rice and lemongrass deluxe (again) Everything was delicious!
Great vegan food! Went on a solo date and got the Lemongrass Deluxe. It was delicious! The right amount of spice as well. Definitely recommend and would visit again next time I'm in town!

This place is fantastic, we were there for an early lunch. We were seated promptly. We had delicious rice paper wrapped spring rolls with a delightful peanut sauce. Our entrees came out quick and was delicious. Portion sizes were perfect for lunch.
This is a Vegan restaurant, but the flavor was not sacrificed. Loved all of it!
