Stopped in to catch a little playoff baseball and enjoy the food and beverage. This place did not disappoint. I did the Tap Room burger, and a couple local IPA’s. Place wasn’t extremely busy but had a great vibe. Would definitely return.

I enjoyed the food and my server was nice only con is that service was a bit slow but other than that inside was good. Although the guard or bouncer was rude when i asked them a question about the age limit to go in . I’m 20 not 21 yet and I was just trying to get a bite to eat but I wasn’t sure on the age requirement. I asked the guy and her immediately said get out of here when I asked the age requirement , I wanted clarification but he kept shooing me off not answering my question but then he had a sudden 360 and said you can go in. That turned me off quite a bit but other than that good food nice unique area ( I came around 10 am on Sunday for the football games. It was a lady guard but that wasn’t the one who I had the interaction with she was fairly quiet. It was the dude in the suit behind her that was in my opinion quite rude but other than that your staff was quite nice especially my server. I would come again if the whole process on getting in was smoother. Thanks for having me)

Didn’t know this place existed until it came up on a beer app as nearby. Walked over and steps to bar more than a few and it is a cavernous sports barroom, empty at noon. But the bartender was very helpful and offered tastings of beer and other suggestions. I went there specifically for a stout mentioned in my beer app and it was there and delicious. Can’t imagine going back but, otherwise it was an experience.

Place needs remodeling & repainting. Place looks so old. Canvass not-in-used should be placed in the storage NOT under the tables. Needs more light too.

Bartender was quick to service us and drinks were solid in strength. The place itself is pretty cool, two huge TVs with sports and several smaller ones. Would definitely recommend this spot if there’s a game on, or if you want to play a couple arcade games. Also has two shuffleboard tables and a pool table

My sister and I took a vacation to San Francisco, and we were staying about 2 blocks from The Golden Gate Tap Room, so it was convenient since we didn't know our way around. They have security at the entrance, which made us feel a bit safe. At first, we just went in for some beers. By the way, the bartender was extremely nice and patient. We explained the type of beer we liked, and he suggested the Golden Gate Blonde Ale. I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great. It's a place where you can have a really good time without worrying about disrupting customers. I played on the pinball machine, which I hadn't done in years. On another night, we went in for dinner. I had the popcorn shrimp, and my sister had the fish and chips. Both tasted fresh from the sea. We were visiting from Texas, so we knew right away how fresh it tasted. It was delicious. The bartender remembered us and remembered what beer we liked. We couldn't remember the name of it. I really recommend this place after walking all those hilly streets in San Francisco. It is a great place to rest your feet and enjoy a few beers. The only complaint I have is that if the customer doesn't order food, the waiter won't take your order at your table. You have to order at the bar.
