Been going to Gordos since 1980s always ordered a super burrito always got sour cream, guacamole and cheese and we went there yesterday me and my daughter ordered two super burritos and it was rice , beans and meat and just dry as can be. I ordered online so I went in to say there was nothing in it condiment wise and was told it’s all extra!!!!!! AOK what is the difference between a regular burrito and a super burrito 2 inches in a tortilla and more of a cost with no condiments. Come on GORDOS! Ridiculous!

I'm really only here to complain about the atrocious mistake they made with my burrito - ordered online, ordered a super burrito with carnitas, everything no beans no hotsauce. I cut it in half and rice and cheese have somehow been replaced by steak and chicken! The Clement location has never messed up this bad, I highly recommend going there instead, especially considering it's not that far from the geary one.

Gordo was my first Mexican food since I moved to SF in 2001. Every time I eat there, it gives me back exciting memories.
The servings were quite generous. I preferred the crispy grilled chicken taco to the carnitas, which were a bit bland. The Pico de Gallo salsa was good but not outstanding.

They steam their tortillas with the cheese. Spinach tortilla burrito. My go to place when in a hurryWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, level entry from the street straight to the counter.

Showed up 12 minutes before closing and they graciously let us eat our meal as they cleaned and closed the door. I have been going to Gordo for 30+ years and hope to keep going for another 30+!
