Food was ok, but not great. The carne asada had too much nerve (too hard to chew) and the service was really bad. When my mom pointed out that there was something black in her rice, the cook used HIS FINGERS to look through the rice in her plate to find it!!! Thankfully he was wearing gloves, but still, that is unacceptable! My mom had to tell HIM to give her a new plate instead of him offering it after sticking his fingers in her rice. Will NOT be coming back.

My favorite burrito in the world. The only one that comes close is La Taqueria in the Mission.
This burrito is not greasy or heavy. You can eat it every day of your life. It isn’t oozing cheddar cheese. It has a nice thin layer of some white cheese that gives it a nice creaminess. They use whole pinto beans so it’s less messy. Their carne asada is marinated, flame grilled, and tender. Their hot sauce is not too spicy and has a good flavor. Hey are you still reading this?

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. You need to hire a manager that will get things done. We hired Gordos to cater a birthday party for us we ordered 3 days in advance to be sure everything went smoothly…… HA.. fast forward to day of party (40 people we were supposed to feed mind you) Gordos sends us a Text saying our food is ready and should be delivered “shortly” 2 HOURS LATER Gordos food still hasn’t arrived. We called and they told us “door dashers are denying the delivery because they are on motorcycles and cannot fit all of the food….” Are you kidding me?!?! Why wasn’t the manager HECTOR figuring out what to do or how to get us our food???? Instead he let our food sit there and get cold for TWO DAMN HOURS… then had the audacity to offer us a $25 gift card after we spent 400+ on food that didn’t get delivered after we payed for delivery WE HAD TO GO GET IT and eat it COLD. UNACCEPTABLE & all 40 of us will be posting our experience. What a joke. Needless to say Gordos will never EVER have our business.

Prices they charge are not what is shown on the sign where you order. They added fees and gratuity to a takeout order, but they don’t have a screen to show you the breakdown. All around really annoying and my lame burrito came out to over $16 after junk fees and auto tip.

Gordo was a staple, my go to burrito spot for over twenty years. It was consistently great. I went there last night and got two bland, and unusually dry carnitas burritos, poorly rolled, and the dude who assembled even copped a tude. Must be new owners, bummer.

Used to be great now it sucks. We stopped on a very long road trip to get burritos from our favorite place in our old neighborhood. Called the order in for three burritos. Showed up and waited and waited finally after the eight guys had made at least 18 burritos for everyone in line, I asked where is my order. I asked in English and Spanish. At this point I’d been in there for at least 30 mins. None of the people working there said anything they kind of acted like they were going to make them but after watching them make burritos for another six customers I walked. Never to go back. My family was like they should have just made them For free at that point. That’s what they would have done in the past but not now. I don’t think it’s ok to support a business that treat people like this.

This place is AUTHENTIC. The guys are really friendly and made GREAT jokes. I loved it so much - I went AGAIN 2 days later. Fabulous food, clean place, friendly smiles. Go fall in love with their food!
