Coming back from Australia to Florida I spent $18 dollars for a sandwich and a bottle of water. What a joke. Here just take my wallet instead why don’t you
Dirty and broken dishes, eyelashes on the plate and a $ 60 bill ... this place must close!
Dinner Before Evening Flight We were flying SFO to PHX in July, and as our T3 departure gate was 74, we decided to drop into Gordon Biersch, right at that gate for dinner, as we would be arriving in Phoenix after 9:30pm. We had arrived at SFO early, so had plenty of time, plus things were quiet at Gordon Biersch, and tables available, in the late afternoon. We took a little 2-top, somewhat near the windows, with a view of the entire dining area, which is divided between dining, and the bar - which was fairly full already. It had been over a year, since we had dined at Gordon Biersch, as though we fly out of SFO at least monthly, we had been spreading our dining all around, between restaurants and either the United or AMEX clubs. Now, Gordon Biersch is known for their brews, but we are much more into wine. I remembered that the wine list was short, but found something for each of us to start: the Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay, and the Louis Jadot Mâcon-Villages (Chardonnay). We decided on the Beer-battered Fish & Chips and the Cajun Fish Tacos, both from the “Chef’s Entrées” section of the menu. The Fish & Chips was just average, as the breading was too thick, and the “chips” were frozen, industrial fries. The Cajun Fish Tacos were better, but the dual taco shells were a bit of a struggle, and then the Rémoulade Sauce would have been better replaced by a nice Baja Sauce, then I think that the “Cajun” theme might just have been carried a bit too far with this dish. The meal was a little disappointing, and the wines served too cold (but allowed to warm up), but service was cheerful, and we wanted for nothing. Previously, I had found their Burger to be pretty good, so maybe I will stick to those, on future visits. The space is open, with large windows looking out from T3 to the tarmac. The bar area is a bit less bright, but still fairly inviting. Even with the many hard surfaces, the noise level was just barely up to moderate, but I can imagine, when full, that it could get a bit loud. We will continue to cycle through our dining choices at SFO T3, and I will likely order the Burger, on my next visit.
It is just a restaurant like any other, the comment and review goes to the fact that at the moment of paying , Lina the waitress complained to us because we left as a GRATUITY , just 10 USD when our bill was 149.67 USD including taxes.Honestly she made us to feel so uncomfortable and following her complaint and attitude we gave her and extra 10USD in cash.Possibly she was in a terribly need, but GRATUITY IS GRATUITY, and no place has it as compulsory we have to pay it.Believe me, I am an international traveller and it is the first time it happens to me.Sorry for the restaurant, but the attitude of Lina the waitress is negative and remarkable.Hope this review reaches the manager/owner.
I think this is the first time I've ever given a one-star review. My wife and I stopped in last night after a five hour flight from Hawaii. It was close to closing time and it seemed like everyone working there was finishing up their first day on the job. From the time we sat down to the time we left for our next flight, I felt like I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone. It was that bad.
I ordered a rib eye steak. I was told that they only have plastic forks and knives. The plastic knife would not cut the steak, but even worse, the fork kept breaking. Six of them broke. i gave up. Requested metal ware and informed that none were available, ever, there. Food average to unappetizing.

Came here for breakfast as I was waiting for a flight. It’s sufficient and the breakfast burrito will fill you up. Nothing exciting per se but it’s a nice establishment at the airport at reasonable airport prices.
Got food to go from gordon biersh and then flight got delayed so we decide to stay the waitress didnt let us to stay because food was ordered to go. So we had to look for place to eat
Ordered the pecan crusted chicken salad, was brought grilled chicken with no crust. The waitress did t bother to tell me until I asked. She then informed me that they ran out, but didn’t bother to come and tell me and let me choose something else. Then they forgot the Gorgonzola cheese and tried to pass off chopped up white cheddar as Gorgonzola. This place is a joke.
Restaurantji Recommends
Service was polite but VERY slow. To slow for an airport when a lot of people usually have limited time. Their food was very bland and disappointing.
Service is good; However, food is very bland and served on broken plates. I recommend passing this establishment entirely.
Good beer and service. I ordered the Marzen BBQ burger medium and it was well done. Other than the over cooked burger everything was good.
Last Thursday night the 10th of October the GORDON BIERSCH SFO wait staff overcharged me by at least $35!!! I’m trying to reach them yet the phone has been “busy” for MANY hours!! The service was sloppy & super slow
Cant keep up with traffic. Got the wrong order after 30 min.
