Gourmands Bakeshop is a top shelf home baked cookie spot in the Inner Richmond. The cookies are amazing, deliciously soft, chewy, and unique, with the chocolate chip or chocolate chip with pecans being a favorite. They have the perfect chew and crisp and are always served fresh, beating out the competition. The pastel de nata and egg tarts are also outstanding, even described as better than in Portugal. The Rice Krispies are amazing. Every cookie is uniform and consistently good, making them a huge hit and a great ice breaker. The price is very good.
Customer service is top notch, amazing, and kind. Orders can be placed on Instagram, by phone, or by email, often with same-day service. The whole interaction is very easy. This is a must try, a new go-to bake spot, and no doubt the tastiest cookies in the city.
