We enjoyed the dim sum takeout items overall, but the best was the hargow and siu mai. The turnip cakes were also good. They only had plain rice noodles available at the time. It was a little thicker than we are used to. They did not provide the usual sauce for the rice noodle. And they also do not have hot sauce. Wish they had seating for customers. It was a bit of a long wait because there was only one staff but eventually a second one came along to help because a line was forming. Service was perfunctory.

Very rude when you ask for prices! Chicken bun tasted nasty like old chicken that had freezer burn .$3.00 are you kidding me? Terrible customer service and attitude was super terrible! Don’t go here. Inferior food and very low class!!

Great dim sum at reasonable prices. Like shrimp, scallop and chive dumplings. Pretty good English and friendly. Usually only one person running counter. Can get pretty busy. Sometimes cook to order. Fresh &

Great thin skin on the har gow. They have a sign up that says cash only. PS in response to the comment about shark fin — you’re not getting shark fin for $3.50 for 3 dumplings, the name is now in reference to the shape

Our favorite takeout dim sum spot with a curated selection of the classics! Their shrimp dumplings (har gow) are THE best on Clement Street - thin translucent skin with abundant, real shrimp filling (not the pasty fillers that others use)! We like to get all the steamed items here (har gow, shumai, scallop and cilantro crystal skin dumplings, etc) and also the fried sesame balls and xian shui jiao (ham sui gok). Then if lines aren’t too long, we’ll round out the takeout feast with coconut sweet rice balls from Good Luck Dim Sum across the street, fried shrimp dumplings, luobosi bing (flaky radish cake), and steamed bbq bun from Xiao Long Bao a few doors down. The best of the best on Clement Street!

Came across this place since good luck dim sum was closed. I'm really glad I did because I like them more! Cash only, but prices are more affordable than other places on Clement. I got the beef siu mai, char siu bao, and shrimp and chive dumplings. We inhaled the bao before I could get a picture, but it was nice and fluffy and the filling wasn't too sweet. The beef siu mai tasted really good, and the shrimp and chive wasn't overly fishy and the shrimp had a nice texture. The crystal dumpling skin was sort of on the thicker side but I didn't mind. Overall, I would definitely come back next time I'm in the neighborhood!

This is a standard dim sum take-out only restaurant. There weren't any fried donut rolls to go with the porridge so I decided to get dim sum only. I don't get how some dim sum restaurants offer porridge but not the fried donuts. Soy sauce chow mein could go well with porridge but, that was sold out. The redeeming quality is the size and taste of their pork dim sum, shrimp dim sum and turnip cake. The line might get long as there is only one person working.

I enjoy their Har Gow, Cilantro Shrimp and Scallop dumplings. Very high quality and great flavor at very reasonable pricing. Cash only!

Probably the currently best inexpensive dim sum on Clement. The har gao skin is better than at similar nearby spots. To-go. No frills. Service is fine, for what's expected.

This the shop is for locals who "are in the know" for tasty dumplings. The customers are mostly aunties, uncles, grandpas, and grannies who know the food here is delicious. This is my favorite local dumpling shop. I live a few blocks away and the taste and quality is great for the price. My order is usually: pork Shu Mai, Hargow shrimp, and Shrimp and chives dumplings. The dumplings have nice large pieces of shrimp meat. The dumplings are well seasoned and flavorful--no need for soy sauce. My total was $17 and it fed two people. (Check out the photo)

Steamed chicken buns only, no baked pork buns (either that day or regularly, there was a bit of a language barrier). Delicious shrimp/cilantro dim sum with nicely thin wrappers and lots of delicious shrimp with really good flavor. Four steamed chicken buns, two orders shrimp/cilantro dumplings (6 pieces) and one order crunchy vegetable egg rolls (3 pieces), $14 total. Nice people, good dim sum. At these prices, I believe it's cash only.

I'm basic, and got an order of har gow (shrimp) and pork siu mai. Fast service, great price, delicious food.
