My mom and I ate here on 11/7 and we had the best dinner here of our whole trip to sf! The food was very tasty, at an excellent temperature and the staff was very attentive. They sat us right away as soon as we entered the restaurant and gave us a delicious hot tea to go with our meal. We will be eating here when we go back to sf for sure!

The service wasn’t satisfactory, and I felt uncomfortable being asked to tip a specific dollar amount. Tips should be voluntary and based on the quality of service, not something I’m pressured into. I should be able to leave whatever amount I feel is appropriate.

I ate at this restaurant today and had a very disappointing experience. There were flies flying around as we ate, which already made the meal uncomfortable. The food was spicy but tolerable — however, I had to drink a lot of water because of it, and the waiter never once came by to refill our water or check if we needed anything. After bringing the food, he never returned.

What bothered me the most was the bill. They automatically added a $12.40 tip to make the total an even $89 — without asking, without permission. Tips are supposed to be based on service, and in this case, there was no service to tip for. I’m not a wealthy person, and this was just a simple lunch for two.

When I went to the register to pay, I told them they are not allowed to add a tip on their own. The person at the front removed it, but then looked at us and asked, “So no tip?” It felt rude and unprofessional.

Overall, between the flies, the lack of service, and the attempt to add a tip without consent, I will never return to this place.

The food was so good, we are wishing we were back in San Francisco so we could go back there again 😋
Thier Chinese food is so much better than what we get in Illinois. We will DEFINITELY return the next time we are in San Francisco.

Somewhat acceptable Cantonese style cooking. Automatic 15% tip added, even if they never ask you how's the meal or help with wrapping the leftovers.

Overall, very authentic Cantonese food. I came for dim sum during lunch, and ended up coming back for dinner.
If you are looking for a very close to authentic Cantonese food, this is the place.
I ordered a salt and pepper octopus, which it came very similar to a sweet and sour dough, but lighter and crisper. Excellent. 5 stars.
The other dish I ordered was a beef tenderloin with scallops and cashew nuts. Interesting flavor. Unique combination, not Cantonese but very well cooked.
What surprised me was the quality of the white rice. Superb. I would give them 5+ stars.

Authentic Cantonese dimsum. Locals love to talk loud over good food. Enjoy! Everything was fresh & steamy hot.

Decent food, not the best service, person at the front was rude, they didn’t serve us an item and at 8:00 on the dot I asked if Dim sum was still served, they declined to serve that too us while a different demographic was served that. I don’t know if this is normal but they also pre charged us for a tip after out of frustration I didn’t want to tip. Will be going to a different spot. Not impressed. I work in the service industry and understand what good service is. This wasn’t that

My wife and I needed a place for a quick bite. This place seemed to be ok. And it is. Not spectacular in the least, rather just a large room with many tables, reminded me of a buffet type of place. We ordered two plates to share, the mixed vegetables and sesame chickenand it was fine. If you want decent food, you should find it here.

This is a place I often visit when I’m in San Francisco, and I finally decided to write a review today. Both the food and the atmosphere have always been satisfying, and every visit feels familiar and comforting. I appreciate that they’ve kept up their quality — definitely a spot worth recommending.
