If I could give a NEGATIVE ZERO, they'd definitely earn it. The woman BARELY exerted ANY effort with service. She would NOT even look up from her book (looks like leisure reading) when I am standing in front of her at the counter to pay my bill. So you can forget about her with bringing the check to your table! I had to tell her that I wanted to pay my bill. Unless you vocalize why you are standing there in front of her at the counter, she will just ignore you and read her book! You ask for water, she didn't even exerted to lifting her finger to point to the water carafe at the front of the restaurant. She pointed with her chin by raising her chin an inch, "water is over there". You can forget about expecting her to check in with you at your table to see if you needed anything. That would be asking WAY TOO MUCH from this woman! She's too lazy to check for no toilet paper in the restroom. When you say "hello!", she doesn't even acknowledge you. You have to raise your voice considerably like you are screaming with her, then she'll get up and get you her last roll. I pitty for the customer who needs the ladies' room to use the toilet after this last roll is gone. Then there are no paper towels left. I came out with my hands dripping. Once again, I said "hello!", no response. I tell her that there's no more paper towels. She had her back turned to me in her stool reading her book. She didn't even turn around nor look up from her book. With her head still tilted forward in her book with her back facing me, she said "I'll get to it". Then the man next to her said, "she needs it now". I said, "yea, my hands are dripping wet!". Then she pouts and gets me a paper napkin. How ridiculous is this?! The clay pot rice, was ok. BARELY any toppings on there. It was 85% white rice underneath. It only looks full based on photos because it's a thin layer of toppings and the clay pot is EXTREMELY small, (kids size). I tipped her about 10%, but thinking back, I should NOT have left her a tip at all. She most certainly did not earn anything. I don't even want to go back. EVERYTHING is nasty greasy. From the tables, to the forks on the table to the walls to the touch screen that you have to sign on the tablet. Disgusting!
The only photo that I should have posted was her face to show everyone!

It's one of those hidden gems with delicious food and you don't have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. No frills, just give me the food. I don't know why people order sweet & sour pork when Peking pork chops exist. One of my favorite dishes!

Food was really good at a very good price (3 large plates for $38). Really enjoyed their rockcod in a blackbean sauce. My mom said the bathroom was very clean. Street parking only.
Parking: Free street parking on Sunday.

I tried couple of times in this place. First time was so so. Not good, but also ok given the low expectations from their price. But my second time was really bad. At that day, there were only two tables occupied by customers when we got in. I thought it was a slow day and would get a good service. But I was wrong. After ordering the food, we didn’t not get anything until I asked them why. Usually you would get the complimentary soup right away. But obviously the waitress forgot it. I was so hungry at that time and expected a sorry from the waitress following the soup. But I was wrong again. She didn’t bring the soup. Instead, she fighting back against me and claiming the restaurant was too busy. Are you kidding? Two tables with 5 people in total is too busy?Message to the owner: if you are satisfied with only two tables per day, please remove rest of tables from your restaurant.

DO NOT EVER EAT HERE! They have WORMS in their food! So GROSS! And they had the audacity to argue back and say they were only going to refund the noodle plate. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!
I take my 76 year old mother and 51 years old mentally disabled sister here. They enjoy the claypot rice here very much. A true hidden gem. If you are Toishan and looking for a good place to get delicious food, look no further. We ordered spareribs clay pot rice chicken and Chinese sausage clay pot rice and they served complimentary lotus root and peanut soup.My mom taught me her Claypot etiquette: as soon as the pot arrives, mix the rice and remember to scoop and mix everything from the bottom of the pot including mixing the crunchy rice with rest and last, serve into a bowl

I was looking for a place to eat before an appointment at Kaiser on 6 Avenue, I walked several blocks on the Kaiser side and came back the opposite side because I didn’t like the restaurants on that side, on my way back to Kaiser I crossed the street to see if there was anything appealing and happened to see this Chinese restaurant with peoplecoming in and out. I decided to give it a try, I satmyself and went and got a menu to see the items, it took a few minutes for service to arrive, I finally got a pot of hot tea and I ordered The Shrimp with Scrambled Eggs over Rice. I was patiently waiting because I happened to look at a table in the middle of the back area completely full with meals to go, (lunch time in the area) the food smelled was pleasant. I got up to get water at a self served area. When I finally got my order I was happy with the rice, it was the right structure, perfectly cooked with a nice aroma and taste, the eggs with scrambled eggs perfectly complimented each other. I was happy with the meal and understanding of the waiting time because the underwhelming amount of orders to go, the staff was pleasant and efficient making sure everyone got the right order.
Very traditional South Chinese

Located on Geary Blvd near 4th Avenue in the Richmond District San Francisco. The owner is very nice. Unfortunately the wait staff could use some customer service training. What we ordered:1.) Winter Melon Soup not bad could use a bit more seasoning.2.) Ginger Chicken. The waitress messed this up by putting a Gravy over the chicken which is not what we wanted. Tasted ok chicken was right…3.) Beef Chow Fun this was very good beef was tender.4.) Fried pork spareribs this was not bad.5.) Seafood Tofu Clay Pot again this was not prepared the way it was ordered. So did not great tasting.6.) Pea spouts in ginger garlic. The taste was good but the sprouts were chewy.
