Grumpy's Restaurant & Pub

Went for the first time tonight after having an evening with my friends at the exploratorium… can’t recommend this place enough! The vibe was beyond perfect, the food was amazing, their wine selection was perfect and the staff was divine. We had picked this place at random and within 10 minutes we knew it was a new “regular” hang for us. I can’t wait to go back ❤️

It is what the description says... a public that offers good homemade pizza and the typical pub fare. Pizza was good. Pitchers are priced at $30... which is decent for SF prices. If you are in the Levi Plaza area it is a nice watering hole.

Stopped here for a dinner. Saw this restaurant on a sf best burger list so I had to stop by. I was not disappointed at all! Burger was delicious, loved the pickle and onions as toppings. Plus the cheese and two patties, it was full meal! Ordered and brought out from the kitchen quickly as well. A fun bar to get a good bite to eat, I highly recommend stopping here for a burger.

We wanted somewhere to eat after leaving the Exploratorium. I wasn't sure that Grumpy's was appropriate for kids (my grandkids and two of their friends were with us), but it was GREAT. There were 7 of us, and even though the restaurant was very busy, they moved things around so we could sit inside. Service was very friendly, and food was great. We had pizza, burger, soup, focaccia, lemonade and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was excellent. Very happy that we found this place and hope to return soon.

Beautiful bar that looks like it’s been there forever. I had the pizza and salad combo. Delicious! The Caesar salad was made to order, and the pizza of the day had a beautiful crust.

Wings were ok good crunch jus needed more seasoning 🤤 would have been perfect...
Fries had jus garlic chopped and thrown on top like come on mannnn saute the garlic n then some cheese 🧀 on top with the Parmesan...
The server/bar tender was amazing cool as dude personally he made the night ty again for last min stop 😁 oh and my drink 🍷 was amazing 😍
