So incredibly mediocre I even debate going when I’m drunk…

Juicy and tender beef and lamb combo. 5 out of 5. Highly recommend their dessert too.

The menu ranges from small to large plates. The meats are usually juicy, and the pita is good. Service is very good and helpful. Enjoy!

Food has been average for a while. Price is high for what you are getting. We come here when we crave a gyro and can't be bothered to go outside of the neighborhood. Maybe next time we switch our cuisine choice. While most greek places include one serving of the taziki white sauce, here its an add-on. French fries are consistently soggy and cold so we stopped ordering those. Overall nice guys who run the front but the quality of food stays the same. Average. Would love to see improvements on what comes out of the kitchen.

This place is cute, and their WiFi is decent when it's actually working, but this place is VERY misleading as they do not notify people of their food. A lawsuit is waiting to happen at this place given they're labeling food as vegan, but it's not.. specifically the Lentil Soup. The soup itself is pureed lentils, but they clarified with me today that the bread itself has eggs in it and they do not have other options to supplement it with. This is incredibly frustrating when I paid almost $20 for soup and a side of falafel and drove here to do work over dinner. If anyone with a dietary concern or restriction comes here, BEWARE as you are being lied to. God knows how many other "Vegan" options they have listed that do in fact contain animal ingredients. Walk a few steps across the street and go to Rossi's Deli as they have vegan food that is more filling, cheaper, and they've been in business for 57 years!

This place is Rock Solid, very dependably excellent! Been coming here since they open over 20 years ago. The owner and his crew are such nice people. If you want to eat good and healthy this is an an amazing Pit Stop! Can't recommend it more highly!
Remember to help out the planet and the restaurant by not ordering plastic silverware if you're eating this food at home

The place is very high quality. The food is very delicious, the employees and the owner are friendly and helpful, I went to get a package, I had to wait because the package was not ready, and they offered me a drink for that, I recommend it, it is a very nice restaurant.

Honestly, they have really great food. The hummus is really good and so is there chicken.

The atmosphere was not great. While it was quiet, for the most part especially considering a Saturday night the day before Folsom Fair, there were patrons inside that were looking at and making reference toward females buttocks.... Personally, didn't feel like much of a safe space considering this is the Castro.

Again though, the food is really good and the service was better than expected.

The staff is very attentive and attentive, and they are more respectful and extra attentive to the Turks.
Lentil Soup is actually a dense soup with the consistency of Indian style dal soup. Do not confuse it with the Turkish tradesman restaurant lentil soup.
My friend had the chicken soup and said it was great.
As for the meatballs, the mother's meatballs, which taste more like parsley and are cooked at home in the park, will take you back to memories.
The taste of pilaf is good and the bazlama is great except for a bit of a doughy taste.

The staff is very attentive and considerate, and they show extra respect and care towards Turkish guests.
The Lentil Soup is actually a thick Indian-style dal soup; Don't confuse it with the lentil soup served in Turkish local restaurants.
My friend had the chicken soup and said it was amazing.
As for the meatballs, they are like homemade 'mom's meatballs,' with a strong parsley flavor, reminding you of quick, nostalgic meals after coming home from the park.
The rice tastes good, and although the flatbread has a slightly doughy texture, it's still great overall.
