I only get one thing here and it's the cold pork and prawn rolls. I have to say I wasn't expecting much but they make these in the spot, fresh and it exceeded expectations. I think I was just lucky with my choice and I'm dubious the pho and banh mi are as good as the other reviews suggest. I also find this place pretty pricy for students. I made the mistake of ordering a coconut juice once without checking on the price: small, 5 bucks and half of it was frozen!

They make the BEST broth I've ever tasted. Please do yourself a favor and taste the curry chicken vermicelli soup when you're on campus!!!

I never think the noodles here are good, however, the noodles I get today are so broken to tiny pieces (like shorter than 1.5 inch)! I can't even eat them with the chopstick!

I wasn't expecting much but I still expected better. I got their deep-fried imperial rolls with a coconut juice. I really did like the taste of my food but this whole thing cost over $12. The rolls were so small and the juice was very small and literally filled almost completely with ice. I felt like there was a glacier in it. It was definitely not worth it and I can definitely find better food around the area.

Use to come here daily back when I still attended school at SFSU. Located directly outside in the quad area outside of the Caesar Chavez Student Center, it is sandwiched between Quickly's and a Mediterranean place. Being that it is on campus, prices are fairly affordable. However the quantity you get and the taste of the food is just average. I typically alternate between the banh mi and the pho. If you are getting a banh mi, make sure to ask for a stamp card. They didn't even offer me one until probably the 5th time I went to buy a banh mi and they started to recognize my face. And while the pho is decent, I'm not a fan of the paper bowls that it comes in as the bowl is piping hot and difficult to carry. There is usually a line here, especially during the lunchtime rush. And wait times typically last 10-15mins+ so make sure you are not in a hurry to get to your next class. Service usually ranges anywhere from being ignored, to actually receiving a thank you because they recognize you from seeing your face for 5 consecutive days throughout the week.

I really like this spot specifically for their mixed vegetable noodle soup (in a chicken broth). The service is good, not great- it is on a college campus so it's not going to be spectacular. Service time is so-so; perhaps it's because of what I get but I usually come expecting a wait so I'm okay with that. It's not a ridiculously long wait anyway, and my soup is definitely worth it. I've also tried their charbroiled shrimp rice plate and that was pretty decent. Overall, I do like this place a lot.

They're usually 4 stars for me but not yesterday. Yesterday I ordered their garlic noodle with chicken. I ordered extra chicken to this order because their chicken portion was always a small portioned on their rice or noodle plates. The reason I am giving 2 stars because I got sick after eating this. My stomach wasn't really having it. Also, the chicken was very dry. I gave 2 stars instead of one because of the service. Always had good service, but the food yesterday was negative. The price was a bit expensive for garlic noodles. The base price of $9 but they give you a lot of noodles. They do charge you about $2 for meats. I wanted garlic noodles with chicken yesterday so the price didn't seem to really a bother me. Although, I didn't expect to get really sick out of garlic noodles. I am not sure if I'm returning to get food here again.

Great addition to SF State! Came in and ordered the Combo Beef Noodle Soup. + Nicely flavored + Good beef tendons + Portions were impressive but average + Meat balls tasted funny but was good + Broth was excellent + Noodles were perfect Overall, great pho & I'm coming back if I have the chance too. But, that will be some time now.
