Ordered a triple chocolate moose cake for a birthday and it was absolutely delicious. I will 100% be ordering from them again!
Highly recommend!!
They were able to accommodate a last minute order, which was much appreciated.

Very delicious cakes and pastries. Great taste, texture, and level of sweetness.
We got a herrentorte and a slice of raspberry chocolate cake. Both were bland. It’s better than Safeway, on par with Whole Foods deserts. But for real pastry go anywhere else in sf

The croissant didn't meet the hype. I got a pretzel ham& cheese. It was still cold on the inside so I took it home to microwave. Pretty underwhelmed

delicious german bakery!
ordered the beesting cake and poppy seed roll
beesting cake: one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! the cream is so light and it pairs really well with the almond layer on top
good mix of textures and flavours + not too sweet!
poppy seed roll: expected poppy seed lemon flavour, but what made it really good was the crumble on top! it added a nice change in texture
the roll was very large for the price so it was a good snack for our picnic :-)

Probably one of the best places to get pastries in San Francisco. I really appreciate that they keep their originality and avoid using a lot of sugar - as is the common practice in this country - in their products. I especially like their bee-sting cake.
Their raspberry lime cake is to die for.

2 slices of a cake and mini pie - $30! I could buy 2 full cakes in Berlin for that. And everywhere “suggested tip 18%” this is a store - the service I got is nothing extraordinary to tip for.I got home and tasted the Black Forest - it’s traditional but too much Kirsch! - I tossed thatThe Hahdough tart - was bland, the whipped cream completely washed out any flavors - so the only thing I tasted was fat and sugar. The apple pie - oh dear, where do I even start? The shell was so tough I couldn’t pierce it with a fork! The apples were raw. No cinnamon no speculaas where are the spices?I was embarrassed for the desert in front of my guests todayThis is not German bakery - I am sorry. This a poor imitation on a high quality afternoon cakes.
