Very average black forest cake and way overpriced at $9 a slice. What was most disappointing was that we were told we couldn’t get coffee or even sit down to eat our cake, because the cashier had “already mopped up and stopped serving coffee” at 2pm (an hour before the advertised closing time)!! She was also very pre-occupied with her phone rather than providing customer service. Rubbish experience and a waste of $9….wish we hadn’t bothered!

The pastry from this place is out of this world!! If you are passing by and this store is open, just go in and invite yourself to the best Berliner ever!!! I can’t believe what I am eating right now that I am writing this review :))) the best part? The lady who works there is super kind!

Black forest cake and ham and cheese pretzel crossiant (I think it was) tasted ok. I wasn't in love. They do have more selection on their website online. There was no wait. Make sure to arrive before closing time otherwise they will be completely packed up. There were 4 cakes to choose from, roughly 5-7 baked goods (pastries and crossiant types). I prefer sweeter cakes.

Their new cashier is abysmal. When I met her first, she was too busy with a phone call to her friend instead of selling things. Today, I arrived at 2:45pm. However, she had already closed the register and closed the blinds. She lied to me that they were closed and that all the cake on display was „reserved“ [sic]. 2 almost full cakes and another 5 individual pieces. I know that preordered cake is in the large separate fridge. Also, the door was clearly open. Hence they were not closed. It takes me one hour to get to this place and I used to love it. Not sure if I will ever return with that service.

I absolutely love this place—their cakes are fabulous! However, it would be great if they could stick to their posted hours. I arrived at 2:50 PM on a Wednesday, and there was a sign outside that said open (I’ve attached a photo). The cashier was inside but told me they were already closed, which was confusing. I used to stop by around this time every week after work, so it was disappointing. If they’re closing before 3 PM, it would really help to update the posted hours so customers know what to expect.

High quality deliciousness. Been to Germany like 5 times and you notice things that stand out. Good beer, driving fast on the freeway, and outstanding bakery goods. This place can legit add German bakery in their name cuz they are smacking and the quality control is on point to how i had it in the Homeland
