We had three rolls, all tasty and very fresh. My only complaint is they had a long list of sake but all were about $50 and above. Was disappointed there was nothing in the $20 to $30 range which I'm used to seeing at any other good sushi spot.
Chef Julio, Chef Abel and their full team created an incredible dining experience!!! The omakase chef's selection was better than equivalents at a michelin star restaurant and at 1/4 the price. We loved the innovative combination of techniques and combinations of flavors, textures, and temperatures w some pieces slightly seared to bring-out unique flavors. Very nice neighborhood japanese place- we got their at 6:15 pm with a reservation for 5 people on a Friday night and it was almost full when we checked in- as we ate a line formed to eat so make a reservation if you can or eat at the sushi bar for walk ins- delicious fresh sushi and the chicken teriyaki and salmon teriyaki were fantastic- super fresh, nice presentation and they came with miso soup and a wonderful salad. Wiuld definelty go back again - a total find in the SOMA...
