The female host was very rude and lacked good customer service. Would not come back to this location.

Fast efficient and knowledgeable service. A great place to grab a quick bite at Pier 39 in San Francisco

My kids wanted to go here and I was a little hesitant since it's such a touristy area. I was pleasantly surprised that it was clean, with great service and good food! It was a win for our family of 6!

Compared to other Hard Rocks we have been to around the world, the food was disappointing here. It was expensive for what we had and not the best taste or quality. The front of house staff were great and very friendly and whilst our server was also friendly he seemed inexperienced, did not know details about the dishes, and forgot a drink. He was not always available when we had questions but the front of house staff helped us out again. I also tried to get the attention of the manager at one point but he didn't spot us. The restaurant was quiet and more light and spaced out than other venues I've been to - which wasn't right for adding ambience to a music led theme. Having left spending more than £120 ($150) for 4, we won't be going back on our next visit.

Great location but service was a bit slow... the kids' food came out quick which was great for them but then our food took an age. It was very good though once it arrived. It's got the usual Hard Rock Cafe vibe but without as cool memorabilia as other sites. Not a bad option when eating at Pier 39.

The lady that greeted us on arrival was not really helpful or happy and seemed like an effort to get our table - but the Second Lady was good and service lady lovely

The service was terrible, with slow, incorrect food deliveries, and guests having to eat at different times. We weren't offered dessert or additional drinks, and we received the bill without being asked if we wanted coffee. The worst Hard Rock coffee I've ever had.

Service was lacking. Our waiter appeared to be newly on his own, which is not the issue. Food took an extensive time to receive while other tables around us that arrived after us/ordered after us received theirs. Not until I requested our kids meals to come (35 minutes after ordering them) did our food magically arrive. The other staff (with the exception of the hosts in the front) were rude as well. We will not be returning to this location.

First time at this Hard Rock Cafe. The ambiance is what bings us back although the videos are not as they used to be. Music is just loud enough to enjoy, but one can still have a conversation. My husband’s rib eye was delicious, as well as all the sides, but my BBQ ribs were extremely dry and the pull pork was not appetizing at all. It seemed like the leftovers of the pot.

Parking: Busy area, don’t waste time, go straight to a structure.

It's a cute place at the entrance of Pier 39... It's single-storey, with very easy entrance and exit. Staff are friendly and helpful. After a nice meal, we took our t-shirts and key chains and left. See you again...

One of the most poorly maintained Hard Rocks I have ever visited. It makes up for it with friendly and helpful staff
