Taro bun, pineapple bun, and short bread crust egg tart were so good!

Freshly baked and very hygienic as their staff collect the items for you. I am not a fan of other Asian bakeries that are self-serve.

Highly recommend their chestnut cake!

Their freshly baked buns are the star—soft, fluffy, and filled generously. Favorites include the BBQ pork bun, custard bun, and pineapple bun—each one full of authentic flavor and just the right sweetness.

They also offer traditional Chinese pastries like egg tarts, wife cakes, and red bean cakes, all made fresh daily. Prices are very reasonable, so it’s easy to grab a few different items without breaking the bank.

Poor service and declining quality. If you’re in the area and looking for basic sandwich bread that’s better than Safeway quality, this is a decent option. Otherwise save your money: everything here is overpriced and loaded with tons of mayo and/or sugar.

Been going here for years, haven’t given me or other regulars have recognition. I’d expect more out of out of a vending machine than years with them. Their baked goods were decent but have been dropping in quality the past 3 months and with prices more expensive than anywhere else in the city I wouldn’t recommend them. As someone who grew up in Hong Kong and Guangzhou I’m fairly disappointed with the quality of the past three months

Came in on a whim and walked around the entire bakery. It’s well set up with decent signage for everything. On the right corner, there’s some tables where you can sit and have tea or coffee with the pastries. Like most bakeries, you get a tray and tongs and pick whatever you’re interested in. Except for one display case by the window where it states you have to get help!! Sooo that’s the one I picked and got two egg tarts, a chicken pie, a cha shiu baked bun, and a curry pie. The curry was very good as well as the cha siu bun. But the chicken pie was very dry and the egg tarts though not too sweet had no flakiness at all. Strange given that the curry and cha siu were very flaky. I’d go back for the curry and cha siu but avoid the egg tarts and chicken pie. Overall, it’s ok given so many great Chinese bakeries around. Prices were reasonable. Debated if this was a four or three, oh well!!

Great place to get bakery if you are visiting the park or zoo. Close to all the attractions and yes you can find parking. Sundays no pay. Staff is friendly. Bakery items are reasonable. Get away from all the hustle and bustle of China Town. Great Chinese cake too. I have gone to this place many times and the bakery does not disappoint. Keep up the great work. Must have cash!!! No ATM or debit related payments.

Parking: You must find a place on the street to park. Use the app to pay for it. Very convenient.

Kid-friendliness: Staff have smiles when they see little ones.

Was excited to get a mango cake for my bil birthday. They were nice about holding it for us. The cake was beautifully decorated with an abundance of mango. The whole party at dinner were wowed. We all raved about it until we took bites. It was sour. Turns out the mangos weren’t ripe. We almost bought other pastries with our cake. Ended up with disappointment n it does not bode well for the bakery’s reputation. We thought we found a gem. They should try the fruit n not use it if it’s not ripe. Poor quality control

stumbled across this place walking my dog since they had the Macao Tart in the window… it’s the closest to the Portugese Egg Tart - better than Holy Nata IMO! Buttery soft, not too sweet, and great price!!

Had Napoleon cake here which lacked moisture.
When my we entered the bakery, a lady was mopping the floors and was getting annoyed while we were walking between the aisles.

Been a while, but the pastries weren’t bad when I last tried them. However, they did give me a fake ten dollar bill once which wasn’t cool. Their negligence could have easily gotten me in trouble. Maybe modernize and take other methods of payment beyond cash?

I discovered this gem getting lost with my friend and I'm so happy I did! They have the most delicious curry pastry, so light and flaky and you can see all the layers of Love put into every bite! The chicken pie had a buttery crust with chicken pot pie filling Chinese style sooo good!! I also enjoyed a lemon roll cake so spongy, light and fluffy it's like eating lemony air. My friend gave me a bite of her BBQ pork bun and I ran back to get one myself but sadly they had closed. Oh well, gives me an excuse to come back next time I'm in San Francisco again YAY!!!

my family really love this bakery, especially my son. He usually eats only the sausage while eating a sausage bun but he finished the whole thing from this store, even the scallion sausage bun to my surprise. The buns are really fluffy and not hard the next day. The red bean bread has alot of fillings too
