Hawthorn SF Nightclub and Lounge

I went to Hawthorne for first time for my birthday celebration. It was a wonderful night! We had such fun! They have two rooms with different music and a step down dance floor which was really nice. The music was great and the drinks and bartenders were great! I plan to definitely go again ☺️

Robert is the best in the game!

Wasn’t bad, considering SF nightlife.

Every time I come here I have a terrible time because the bouncers are so unnecessarily aggressive and ruuuuuuuuuuude

I rarely rate places bad cuz I gave reasoning to places I visit. I was referred with vip tickets to come here on 7/6 7/7 night. We even invited friend to have a good time here looking forward to a table. When we got here, the door guy stoped us saying one person in our group doesn’t have long pants and asked us to all go to change . In 2 hours, we came from a musical and decided to try again, he changed and said 50 dollars or 20. It sounds like a joke , we were serious visitors and we felt like we were barred at the door because the door man doesn’t understand the club. Anyway. Won’t go again, it’s a waste of time for people who want a classic time with easy check in.

I went to a private party for a dear friend. The club is swanky. Comfortable with a great sound system.

Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, a very caliente atmosphere. The waitress, who fortunately spoke French, offered to make cocktails or drinks according to our tastes, because we didn't really know what to choose on the menu. She also advised us to take an Uber, even though we were a three minute walk from our hotel. The security guards reacted well to the behavior of one of our friends who was very drunk. They explained the situation to us well. So if you want to have a safe drink, this is the place to go.

Hawthorn is old and tired... Lazy music... and Expensive!! And full of wanna-be's. Go there only if you want to chill with dorks. Anyone who says "it was cool or great" is either high or drunk.

My company hosted a very successful Cocktail Mixer event (happy hour) at Hawthorn, and we've had such excellent feedback on the event, both from our event partners as well as the attendees. The event staff (host, registration, coat check, event manager, etc) were incredible, friendly and always accommodating. Great place to host! Very cool and intimate atmosphere.

This place was great! The owner talked to my friend and I for a brief moment and the man is a class-act! The bartenders were amazingly friendly and the drinks were great! Music, ambience, and clientele were all top-notch as well!

If you are younger than 30, don’t come here. Please Por favor because/ Porque everyone/ today personas son muy old/ viejas.Probably everyone is above 35. Muy triste ~>>>Also everyone is cuffed, don’t expect to be a home wrecker :)) lo siento

They charged me 20$ to get in. I asked hiw it it looking to ight. Bouncer was silent, I walked in and it was dead. So i asked for a water, the bartender pointed to a sign that said 3$ for voss water, i handed 3 $ over, then she said plus tax. So i gave an extra dollar, she didnt even give change. So im like wow this place refuses to do better so im going to abandon it. I hope it closes down soon or gets new management. I honestly feel disrespected. I feel so ripped off.
