Slow sandwich makers lil expensive but that's life in the city

I have never seen a complete bar that is nothing but Henny. Different years, different blends, and all of them aged to a perfect cognac. It's extremely impressive to see such an extensive collection of the infamous Henny, just waiting for the bottle to be open and poured into a DOF and enjoyed. Some of the bottles are as beautiful as the amber colored contents. The elegance of the bottles would make anyone wish that they were wearing a smoking jacket and slippers Hef style. The barstools are super comfortable because if you're going to sit and enjoy a glass, you might as well do it in style. It's truly the little things that help us enjoy and experience. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable, super friendly, and really know their stuff. They were super patient with me when I was asking questions about the different blends and cask years. The bartender pointed out that there are some that go down and are as smooth as silk, and some burn like 180 proof. Skip the gin and juice and grab some Henny.

Custom sandwiches and a surprising variety of quality beer and wine. This family owned shop is pleasant in an ever more corporate and expensive neighborhood.

This sandwich was very disappointing. There used to be a lot of meat in a Hennessey's sandwich and was the best place in SOMA. I'm not sure if it's the new worker, but she made my sandwich with barely one layer of turkey....

Their sandwiches are hella good, I did a job for them last week and they gave us Turkey sandwiches for lunch. I was surprised how much I liked it because I usually don't order Turkey and I think they put it on the fresh baked bread that was the best part.

Secret patio in the back is the best when everything else is just too busy during happy hour on a Friday.

Not worth it. I bought two sandwiches (one half and one whole) with chips and cost $27. The sandwiches were decent, customer service was somewhat poor. I wouldn't go back and take my money elsewhere.

I came here today on the strength of a colleague's recommendation. I was not let down, either. My sandwich was delicious, and the customer service is so down-home and warm in this otherwise sterile SOMA neighborhood. FYI: ask for Tammy!

This place is a gem in SOMA. There is a tiny courtyard inside where you can sit at a table and sip wine... Very European! The owner is a wine connoisseur... he gives excellent recommendations and tells you all about your choice.

A hidden spot, making amazing sandwiches; try the house baguette! The whole sandwich is a deal.

This place is just a gem. The people that work here are so kind and sweet. My office is around the corner and I love stopping here for lunch to get one of their killer sandwiches - they are loaded and so inexpensive!! Also the pizza just kills me, I love it - I think it's $2 a slice now and it's on their own homemade focaccia-like crust.

It's hard to even find this place, and when you do, it's not going to be what you expected. It's more like a tiny liquor shop and convenience store with an attached deli. Except they actually have a good liquor section, and if you get a sandwich, you'll receive a dagwood. Lurve this place. Srsly.

Great food, large selection of beer and wine, and they have a nice patio in back for a leisurely meal with the beverage of your choice. The perfect snack bar on the way to a Giants game!

Decent fresh sandwiches at reasonable prices, though overpriced on the other items.
