Went for Spring restaurant week. Got the steak and salmon option. Started off with their salad - yummy. Next is the pea soup - also yummy. Not as grainy as some pea soups can be. Steak made well with the aoili dipping sauce. Salmon also nicely made. Kids meal has a salt & pepper option. Dessert was a lemon pound cake which was a bit disappointing. Was dense and a bit too tart for me. Rustic setting. Definitely prefer the back near the fire place.Parking: There is a parking lot on 8th - if it is city operated, it is free after 6pm-otherwise metered. Street parking is free after 6PM and Sundays.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu option-more then chicken tenders and burgers which was nice. Salmon was an option with fries and seasonal veggies (currently peas).

The food was so delicious. I enjoyed the entire of salmon over mashed potatoes with a mild sauce surrounding. The flavor blend was wonderful.

The owner went above and beyond to make the evening a great experience for the whole family. They even brought out Blocks and puzzles to entertain the children! Will be returning for sure.

Lovely early evening dinner! Super family friendly, food was delicious and great value. There was an issue with our UK bank card but Cameron was incredibly gracious and helped us find an amazing resolution. They also have a great family evening coming up on a Thursday which sounds perfect!! Can’t wait to go back!!!!

I think I had the best meal I've ever had in San Francisco this evening. Literally everything was delicious and great portions. My kids ate everything. All four items on the kids menu were the best they ever had. Their words! That's amazing. Service was perfect as well. Great drinks too. What can I say. Flawless dining experience.

The overall experience was ok nothing exciting. The service can definitely improve. We had to keep asking for what we needed… food, drinks, chairs or plain service. They forgot to bring the food order as advertised on their fixed menu. Just not a place we will come back. Unless is an invite. Overrated.

Started when I sat in a self reclining dinner chair. Please check your floor before service! We were seated in a corner booth that our knees were touching each other.We ordered two appetizers and were looking forward to the Lilikoi wings and the crostini. The wings didn’t have the flavor but had the sticky honey. The Crostini were ok…Dinner entrees around the table was very varied. Steaks , seafood pasta , duck and burgers and we all try each others entrees. Steak med rare was tough , nice flavor. Seafood pasta was my choice and the salmon and shrimp were ok but the scallops were salty and fishy. Pasta was el Dante but didn’t taste the lobster sauce. The plate looked great and not heavy. Duck was chewy and again flavorless. No would not return.

Had a wonderful experience here. It was a friends birthday and they sat us near the fireplace, which was awesome. The steak was cooked perfectly and the appetizers were tasty. The server was incredibly accommodating and polite. This place is a must.
3 of us had the chef's tasting menu for %49 each. The 4 course were delicious and filling. Our friend had the pork chop and he said it was very good. We also had Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Excellent recipe. The service was efficient and friendly. I recommend this restaurant.

Excellent meal tonight at the Heritage Restaurant & Bar. We chose the Chef's menu that included the pomegranate, beet and goat cheese salad, tomato soup, Grilled Steak with mash potatoes and spinach, and warm chocolate chip cookies with milk. All for a really good price. We had the best service. Very happy and highly recommend this restaurant.

Waited 45 minutes after being seated and they did not acknowledge us at all. Asked another table for their menu but none of the servers came to take our order in the end. Couldn’t get anyone to come over despite trying to get their attention multiple times. They seated another 7 tables despite being too busy to speak to us, then took another table’s order. Right as we were about to leave they came to take our order and we stayed because we were too hungry to find another spot.

I booked a reservation to catch up with some of my oldest friends and younger sister. Before we even got to the restaurant my sister looked up the menu and texted me "this restaurant and its menu is EXACTLY what I need" and she wasn't wrong! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, plus their recommendations are spot on! My steak was cooked perfectly and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The creamed spinach was super well done with the spinach still tasting fresh and bright and the potato cake had a great consistency with a smoky flavor. My sister and my friend really enjoyed their pork chops (thanks for the recommendation Chris!!) and my other friend loved the housemade tagliatelle prime beef bolognese. We ordered cocktails that were balanced and tasty and we were grateful that the restaurant allowed us to bring in a bottle of wine. All in all, I'm excited to return to try brunch or the tuesday pop up!
