I ventured the far 15 minute walk from my office to try this place out since it has such high ratings, and honestly wasn’t let down. this place has very fresh and flavorful fish. I usually go to the Benito Poke food truck, but I really like that this establishment is traditional in being able to customize your own bowl. TLDR: small takeaway spot with lots of choices (though confusing what is for free and what isn’t)I got a small poke bowl and the flavors of the poke were very good. For half and half, there could be a little more rice and the service sizes of poke are a bit too small. Also they charge for seaweed salad which basically no poke spots do.All in all, flavor is good but size of portion is a bit small. Also best for the servers not to have AirPods in their ears, doesn’t seem professional.
Now I no longer eat Poke anywhere else. Neither should you. It is sensational, fresh and the vibes are epic. Just the atmosphere is good, not great. A little dingy. The epic poke more than makes up for it.
