Hi Dive Bar Reviews
This was my 1st visit to San Francisco on my birthday! Hidive was welcoming, with great staff, good drinks, and a great bar top food menu! Started the day out there with margaritas, and stopped back in for some wings and a nightcap at the end of the day. It was great!
friendly bartender, we stopped by after a giants game. it has a nice view of the bay. Only had 1 drink. would like to go back and have some food and enjoy the atmosphere more.
Great little waterfront bar with tasty grub.

Hi Dive Bar is a cozy spot located at Pier 28 1/2 in San Francisco, offering a dive bar atmosphere with great service. It has been around since 1935, originally called Boondocks, and has since evolved into a bright, relaxed place with fantastic views of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. The bar is especially popular during baseball season due to its proximity to Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. The menu features simple bar food, including delicious garlic and potato fries, and options like calamari. The outdoor patio is a great place to lounge outside on sunny days, and the indoor space includes a long bar and several tables. The view of the bay and the bridge adds to the appeal, and the bar offers a good wine list along with drinks and basic food options. Parking can be easy to find depending on the time, but it may get crowded during Giants games or special events at Oracle Park. The staff is friendly, and the outdoor service is professional. While the food and drinks are decent, the prices are similar to other bars and restaurants in town, making it somewhat of a tourist trap. It used to be a popular spot for after-work happy hours. Wheelchair accessibility is not an issue.
