Wine was good. Honestly this wine bar felt very discriminatory. We were the only black people at this wine bar and got passed over by servers multiple times. When we finally flagged someone down they gave us an attitude (as we watched them serve the tables near us). They forgot our food order and were rude about it. Would not recommend if you’re black/poc

Menu prices are not updated. Charged us 2 dollars more on drinks than what was reflected on the menu drinks. Service is terrible as well, bartenders couldn’t care less. Don’t spend your money here.

Wine bar with a nice selection of wine and some beers available. Non alcoholic options available too. Play live records. The big windows in the front open up on nice days. Food looked from nearby diners. Coffee shop at the same location under a different name in the mornings.

Food was good, big portions although the fried rice was a little salty. Kalbi and coconut shrimp are to die for.

lovely place for a casual wine date night with nice records and unique interiors. wines were perfectly chilled, service smooth and staff knowledgeable. we loved our two recommendations — one gin-like sparkling rosé and another more desserty wine with cola aftertaste.

I really love this place a lot but it always feels like a warehouse and is so uncomfortably cold. The front door doesn’t close and lets in a significant draft. I’m never comfortable taking off my jacket. The service is wonderful, the wines are great, and I would definitely go more often if I felt more comfortable.

2/8/25 good wine bar

Vinyl records and pet nats - what more could one ask for? I noted that the wine buyer/somm here has a sophisticated nose; stocking TWO hard-to-find/semi discrete producers of cool climate wine. I was impressed with the inclusion of Mountain Tops Pinot Noir and Ochota Barrels from the Adelaide Hills in their offerings. Bonus points for featuring a Victorian Pinot, as well. You can probably hear my accent at this point… a biased Australian wine enthusiast. Whoever is running the show here, knows exactly what is going on.

Amazing wine club membership. Interesting even for wine enthusiasts. Ambiance is nice but casual.

This place is a hidden gem ! Wine and Hawaiian food…yea I know it’s a bit of a non sequitur that’s one of the things that so fantastic about it. The wine is world class and so is the food. The space is cool and the prices are totally fair.

Where High Treason really shines is the people who run it. Amazing energy and knowledge, best I’ve experienced in the Bay Area in years. Absolutely no attitude at all except enthusiasm for great wine, food and hospitality. Truly exceptional.

I can’t wait to go back.

Love the vibe and layout of the bar and had friendly service. The o be my disappointment was the wine - the two we tried were not good - very disappointing. The first glass was from a bottle that tastes off. Maybe I just had bad luck with my selection.

This place is a triple threat: It's a beautiful, modern, trendy wine bar in the evenings with a great kitchen offering hawaiian food that could stand-alone be its own restaurant. During the mornings (over the weekends at least), it's a coffee bar that offers high-end beans from boutique roasters through espresso and pour over offerings.
