My family loves this place and wanted me to bring desserts. I have never personally ordered from here, but I read previous reviews and already knew it would be hard to get through, but I tried anyway. I called 3 times when they first opened, but got a message with their business hours. After a few minutes, I tried again, and the line was busy. Finally, after my 6th or 7th attempt, I got through but was immediately put on hold. I was on hold for 5 min, and then I was able to place my order. On the day of pick up, there was no parking. So definitely go with someone so that you're not circling the area. When I went inside, there was a line and no one at the register. It took a while, but it was finally my turn. The order was ready, and the cashier was polite. The prices were raised, and there's no coconut for the kutchinta.

Great small place for Filipino desserts, and I've been a customer for a very long while now. Make sure to bring cash since the place does not take cards. Also, you will have to circle around for parking since this place is concentrated in the neighborhood.
I don't live in the city but since I was visiting someone around the Mission area I was hoping to buy some hopia and other desserts today but the store was closed even though online says they're open. Disappointing as they seem to be always close whenever I stop by. It's also difficult to find parking.
Hilda's have the best hopia in town, but they have widely inconsistent store hours. It's difficult to know when they're open during the week, and their Google Maps listed hours/days are inaccurate.
Every time I am in the bayarea, I picked Puto from aling hilda to take home. I normally get 5 dozens. They open at 10:00 but nobody picks up the phone until 11:00 ! And no Puto !! They said I have to order a week before ! But, I’m leaving tomorrow back to LA…my previous trips, I can call one day before for pick up the next day …. And I would think that’s realistic !
UPDATE your hours. Spent over an hour looking for parking only to discover that it’s for some reason closed. Why do your business hours say you’re open at 11am on Sunday, and it’s almost 1pm locked up…? Have been coming here for years and disappointed that I not only wasted time looking for parking, but wasted my time coming to this place. When you fix your hours, I will update my review to a more positive one.

Parking is a challenge, but the quality of their food is worth it, as is the pleasant and professional customer service.

Best putos I have ever had. Cons, staff is not very welcoming, they either ran out of putos or they are not ready yet. Advice call before you go to make sure they have what you need.

The hopia is to die for!!! Good luck trying to get a hold of them. I gave it a 4 because I can never get a hold of anyone and it's closed when I go to the actual store. Hours need to be updated on line or have some type of updated sign with actual store hours...Or you can always hire me to answer all calls and take orders and pay me in hopia.. Lol

Received a gift from cousins from San Fran. Loved loved loved the hopia. So good and flaky and just the right sweetness and surprisingly because I was given several boxes the hopia stayed just as fresh looking and tasting as when I got it! . Too bad they don't ship. You have my sweet tooth San Fran❣️
our go-to for puto, kutsinta, and hopia for special occasions. only thing is they’re out of coconut; i hope that’s just temporary
