Food and service were excellent - some of the best nigiri I’ve had. However, we were very disappointed to not be able to sit at the bar as we drove 3 hrs for our first omakase experience. I am a sushi chef myself and was excited to watch the sushi being made and engage with the chefs.
We were seated at a table away from the bar. We made our reservation online through open table, and nowhere did it mention reserving the bar versus a table. There is only a section for “special requests” which I interpreted as a section to mention any food allergies, etc. As a result, we did not receive the full omakase experience we were expecting. This is something that should be clarified during the reservation process to avoid disappointing future customers. Maybe a specific question asking “bar” or “table” seating reservation.
We would be happy to return for another experience, and next time I will be sure to call the restaurant directly to make sure they have my reservation down to be seated at the bar.

I celebrated my birthday and its really a nice experience. Can't go wrong with their omakase and service. I really appreciates the chef who serves us, he's amazing and knows his craft so well! A must try place! 💖💯
Food was OK. Add-on items were overpriced. Had to wait for 45mins before being seated despite of having a reservation.

Omakase with Chef Kim was great, we got an explanation of every course, tips on how to enjoy them best, and where the ingredients were sourced from! Very quiet inside, perfect for an upscale date night. Extra rounds could be added as desired after tasting them.
Amazing quality, wonderful chef and great service, will be back!

Hands down my favorite omakase experience to date. Chef Kyle was incredible and funny, he even noticed my partner is left handed and made sure the food was placed in a way he could better pick up with his chopsticks. The food is incredible from start to finish, highly recommend adding the supplements.
Amazing experience. Im not a fan of fish at all but my girlfriend wanted to experience an omakase spot so we gave it a try. It was some of the best food I've EVER had! Everything was so fresh and elegant, it was truly an experience worth writing a review for. Highly recommend Hinata if it's your first time.

Excellent food and service, elegant modern aesthetics. For the most ambiance, best to sit at the sushi bar, sitting in the room itself lacks a bit of spark.

$128 omakase. Great flavors with limited variety. Slightly underwhelming.

Worth the price! ~$100/person omakase before tax. I’ve been here twice and both times were great — fresh seafood, good pace, great ambiance. Get the Buckwheat tea, and try to get bar seats
