Hinodeya is a ramen STAPLE, especially if you’re looking for great vegan options (but they have the meaty stuff too).

Really tasty clam Ramen! Added a bit of lemon 🍋 for pop flavor (don’t mean to insult chef) - the Macha Latte was perfect! Will definitely be back

Dashi based Ramen is a lighter, summer fare. I recommend the claim based Ramen but the regular shio style was less inspiring.

One of the best ramen spots I’ve ever been to.
The house ramen made me feel like Naruto when Jiraiya buys him ramen.
As you can see I scoffed that shit down. If I had room for the broth I would too.
10/10
Would come here again

Hindoeya Ramen in San Francisco’s Japantown is a gem for tourists craving real-deal Japanese ramen. This cozy little spot dishes out tasty dashi ramen with a rich, savory broth and fresh, chewy noodles that hit all the right spots. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming—perfect for a quick meal or a chill break after sightseeing. The staff? Super friendly, and the service is fast, even when it’s packed. Prices won’t hurt your wallet either; you get awesome quality for a fair deal. Don’t skip the house ramen or the creamy vegan option—both are fire! It’s small, so you might wait a bit, but the authentic flavors and comfy atmosphere make it worth it. Solo traveler or with a crew, Hindoeya’s a solid pick for a delicious, no-fuss bite in Japantown!

Hinodeya in Japantown SF has a very upscale vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a great selection of ramen dishes. We ordered the Chicken Umami and Spicy Miso ramen and really enjoyed the toppings that added a lot of flavor to the bowls. The staff was friendly and the overall experience made it a spot I'd definitely return to.
