Good Vietnamese spot in Nob Hill, conveniently located on Polk St. It's open pretty late so a good option for a later dinner. When we went around 8 on a Friday, it was quite empty, which unfortunately made it a bit awkward to talk because it felt like the whole restaurant was able to hear our conversation. I think the vibes would be a lot better when it's more busy at a more common dinner hour. The harp music they play is very soothing and adds to the quiet intimate ambiance. The service is extremely attentive and it felt like we had our water glasses refilled after every sip. The food also comes out super fast. We got beef pho, yellow curry with chicken, and the spring rolls. All were solid. The spring rolls were actually my favorite thing from the meal -- so fresh and the peanut sauce was delicious. Tasted very homemade and healthy. I liked that the yellow curry had taro chunks in it, which I've never seen in curry before. I think the curry could've been a little more flavorful overall. It's a huge portion though!

Very attentive staff, constantly refilling my water and checking in on the food. I am VERY impressed with their fried chicken wings, they are juicy and had PERFECT crispiness. Literally the best wings I had in my life. In additional their pork vermicelli bowl was really delicious as well, great flavors, the portion is huge and good to serve 2 people.

Very yummy! Came here with my husband on a Tuesday at 6:45pm. He had the Beef Pho and I had the Vegetarian Eggplant, Broccoli, Tofu with rice. Both were delicious!! Service was super duper fast.

Food is not authentic at all and has weird additions to the dishes. They also overuse MSG. The soup isn’t cooked the traditional Vietnamese way with requires a lengthy process of cooking to get all the natural sweetness and flavors from the ingredients into the broth. The Hue beef noodles tastes like stewed beef (which was also not how the dish was supposed to be) with some pre-made powdered soup base, and they just throw in some noodles. For phở, who puts broccoli, bok choy and fried shallots in that dish? Another important thing for chicken pho is the meat itself. They only use chicken breast, which definitely doesn’t deliver the right flavor and texture. The meat is supposed to be shredded, not sliced into big pieces. So apparently they don’t even use a whole chicken to make their broth. As a Vietnamese, I’m super disappointed with what I was served. Definitely not recommended if you are seeking authentic Vietnamese food or even good food for that expensive price point.

Good food, dog friendly, we were able to sit outside with our pup! They created cute pretty private seating. Surprised when the waitress opened the windows from inside to take our order, and serve us water and food. They did not come to check on us. Food was good, not spectacular and on the pricier side.

- Pho contains msg- The owner warmly greeted and refilled water for all other guests who happen to be white, but skipped me and gave me an attitude when I was asking for check.——Edit: Instead of apologizing for the terrible services, the owner replied by accusing my perception. How the owner responds just speaks everything.

Nice atmosphere, the food and service were ok. We ordered the Pho chicken soup and Vietnamese mini pancakes. A bit pricey for the portion size.

Have been here several times and keep coming back. The beef pho is my go to, the broth is flavorful, the meat is super tender, and the bean sprouts are super fresh!! I also like the shrimp fresh rolls, they are super fresh tasting and delicious. Last night my partner got the shaken beef, and he loved it (and ate the entire plate)! Yes the prices are higher than a small hole in the wall, but what you get is quality and the ambiance is amazing! It's very clean, the lighting is amazing. Others have commented negatively about the owner but I love him! He knows what he is talking about and reminds me of some of my family members. He's no nonsense and I appreciate that. Restaurants, especially in that area, are struggling and I hope this place can make it past the lull.

Hands down the best Asian food I have ever had. The people were very nice a great place with nice ambiance, and interior the food is amazing the pho was light yet filling. Tasty to the last drop, and overall very impressed. A little pricy but in my opinion worth it. Wonderful place do recommend.

First impression wasn't great. Waitress greeted us then walked us to table and slammed the menus on the table. Food is decent for the high cost. Stay away from the scallop. No taste at all. Our first choice in the area was not open and we needed a place to sit down. If not we had already walked out.

Friendly and good food. Sweet and sour chicken really recommended. Atmosphere really pleasing after a long day (on a Thursday) not too loud.
