The yummiest egg tart I ever had!!

Been meaning to try this for a long time but thought it was a little gummy (?) probably because it's been sitting out? Still great but wish there was more of a textural contrast: super flaky shattery puff pastry crust and soft custard

The best Custard tarts in SF. Tasted sooo good and brought back memories of Lisbon. It’s very addicting😊 I will be back again in a few weeks to grab more.

Good but not for the price. Unexpected taste. Just get from fancy wheat bakery it’s better and cheaper

The Portuguese egg tarts have a very sweet custard filling. The puff pastry shell is delicious and crispy, and the sprinkle of cinnamon complements the flavor well. The tarts are also quite tiny, like a two bite brownie

The pasteis de nata are very good in the morning. Later in the day they are less fresh. The pastry is very, very small though, smaller than at other local bakeries and smaller than they are in Portugal. For me, it doesn’t feel like good value for the price.

It’s a hidden gem. It was a great first experience, and I will definitely visit Holy Nata again. I recommend you visit if you haven’t yet.

Yeah, I wish I could try this again for the first time. The plain/original custard tart with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top was a wonderful little bite. I would definitely stop by here again when I’m in downtown. The service is also really warm! :)

San Francisco finally has a pastel de nata spot and it doesn’t disappoint! The custard tarts are creamy (not eggy), well balanced with perfectly crispy shells. Ours were still warm.

The only crime are their opening hours: closed Sat-Sun, close at 4pm on Friday and at 5pm other days making it impossible to visit unless you have a day off, live close by or are a tourist. I hope they extend opening hours to weekends soon since it’s the perfect snack!

Classic Crispy crunchy yummy flavor. But the sugaryness is too much for an adult, at this sugar level 1 is enough. Eliminate the sugar, replace with fruit or something less sugary and you can eat a bunch at one time. It will increase the popularity of the product.

We got the Nutella and Traditional Vanilla but I love the Nutella one! The pastries were flaky and a nice crisp! Just wish it’s less sweet. I would come back here again when in SF!
