My husband and I popped in for cocktails after a dinner and had a great time. At 7:30pm on a Thursday, we easily found a table and tried a pina colada and their after the gold rush cocktail - both very good. We could hear each other talk but there was still a lively ambience. The decor is fun and we’re lucky this is local to us.

Holy Water is a fantastic neighborhood bar. Amazing selection of whiskey and mezcal, the Zombie is Delicious, and they always have some sort of high quality stout from Private Press. The lighting is mood, and they are dog friendly!

This was such a cool bar. The cocktails were fantastic. The ambience was fantastic and the patrons were fantastic. What was not fantastic was climbing the hill to reach said bar. I absolutely love going here and I’m looking forward to stopping by on my next trip.

Amen to this bar, what a devine experience. Every detail was tastefully done, from the great collection of Jesuses, to the bible light fixtures, to the perfectly dim lighting and the very useful coat hooks under the table. This local watering hole is a gem and has one of the best drink selections I have seen. It is somehow able to foster an environment where I think anyone from age 21 to 100 would appreciate this place. God bless, will definitely be back ?

One of my favorite bars in SF, cocktails are creative and extremely reasonably priced, decor is subtle yet funny, and ambiance is excellent (old bottles turned into overhead lamps). Ask bartenders for recs, you won’t regret it. Also a great beer list.

Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday.Decor is cool and interesting, bar tenders are quick with drinks. Unfortunately communication/service is lacking. Would only recommend for a quick drink after work (not for birthday celebrations or any other celebration). Many people in my party felt cold service regardless of high tipping. Heads up! Make sure to know your entire order before telling the bartender to avoid an upsetting response from the bartender. This applies to when they may not have many customers as well, as this happened when they were not busy.Thank you for responding! Although your response seemed a bit passive aggressive. But that just proved my point on lack of service unfortunately. I stated the bar was not packed, it was quite empty! And I do know the importance, I used to serve as well but did not have this reaction to customers. I will send you my statement through email shortly!
