Haven’t had such a disappointing experience in a long time. The fork and the coffee mug brought by the hostess had lipstick marks on them. The hostess was ok but the service felt low-quality. The furniture looked quite old and could really use an update — the chairs were a bit stained and worn out. Thankfully, the breakfast itself was delicious, so at least we didn’t leave hungry

The food…amazing. We had breakfast. Well presented and the chicken sausage were amazing! My eggs cooked perfectly as was my friends’ dishes. Superb food.
The place is very pretty and lightly ‘cozy cafe’ music was ideal for a lingering meal.
What I didn’t like is the server. The gentleman was fine. He was smiling, pleasant with us and efficient. The lady, however, while efficient, appeared at our table, filled our coffee 1/2 way up, never acknowledged our thank yous, no smiles, in fact, quite surly. We almost had to beg for a full cup of coffee from her on the second round. In fact…when she poured, I had to ask her twice to fill mine to which I received a massive sigh…like I was a big problem to her. Absolutely not called for. Interestingly, when we asked for the check, she brought it and walked away saying, you’re welcome to our thank you with a slight smile. So it’s clear, she could be pleasant. She let the side down in our experience. I will return, due to all the other positives, but she needs a reminder that the customer deserves to be treated better.

Nothing to say about the burgers, both good as well as the chips, unfortunately the Service was not so good. The waitress greeted us almost annoyed, even though it was almost an hour before closing, she took the orders without a hint of a smile and when we were still eating she brought us the bill without even asking if we wanted anything else, then kept going back and forth to check if they were ready to pay... my husband still had the mouthful in his mouth and stopped to take off the dishes... baffling! Your tip was equated with your Service!

We used to love this place when visiting San Francisco but this time we were absolutely shocked by its conditions. Attached are pictures of the interior, and let me tell you, we were so disgusted to touch anything around, especially coming with a baby. The chairs are in their worst condition, the walls were dirty, the ceiling had spider webs… This needs immediate attention and replacement, cleaning. For now, thank you but we won’t step our foot in this place, even despite their food and portions being good.
