Hon Wun Tun House might be modest in looks, but it's a heavyweight champ in the world of Chinese comfort food. Their duck wontons are the real MVP here—picture tender duck morsels wrapped in a delicate, thin skin, taking a swim in a broth that’s rich enough to start its own bank. These wontons could probably solve most of life's problems, or at least make you forget them while you’re dining. And if duck isn't your game, their classic pork and shrimp wontons are equally capable of winning your heart. Swing by for a taste; just don’t expect frills—unless you count the noodles!

Food is cheaply made. Nobody speaks English. Ordered gf( due to diet restrictions) they brought wheat soup. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Dumplings are not great. Too much cheap fillers and not worth trying. Their dumplings have tons of sweet corns inside. When you're paying over $2 each for dumplings, you should expect quality fillings and full of flavor. Filling up half of your dumplings with corns ain't it. There are so many other options around that are cheaper and better. I would skip all the dumplings.Main dishes are okay. Typical Chinese restaurant quality. I had beef and broccoli and bitter melon with fried vermicelli. Both were good, but nothing remarkable.

I had Hot and Sour soup, Soup dumplings, and Scallion pancakes. The scallion pancakes were a little bland but everything else was delicious. I think the hot and sour soup was my favorite, a cup for only 6.95 too.

DONT EAT HERE. Food was not good all the food left a weird after taste. I’m not a picky eater at all but would not eat here ever. Found this place on TikTok I guess they lied.

This ramen soup with dumplings is a dream on a cold day. I was craving a hot soup with dumplings inside, and this place certainly delivered. The dumplings filled with whole shrimp were a standout feature. Unlike other places where the shrimp is minced, here you could taste the full flavor in every bite, enhancing the soup's aroma. Yes it has a hint of fish taste but that’s what most dumplings are made of. The atmosphere is pleasantly low-key, especially around 3pm, with a lack of tourist crowds. The pork was very delicious and did not miss a mark 5 of 5 stars.

Our post-Chinese New Year parade dining experience here was exceptional. Despite the bustling crowd, we were seated promptly, a testament to the efficient service. The staff's friendly and composed demeanor in the midst of the bustling atmosphere was a standout feature, a welcome departure from other places I've encountered. The owner's warm and amiable presence added a personal touch, enhancing the overall dining experience. And, of course, the won ton soup was an absolute delight, a flavorful highlight that capped off a memorable visit. I highly recommend this place.

Was my favorite place for years but both I and my friend got food poisoned there today. I think the food safety quality has dropped since their 2nd generation took over and remodel the store. We ordered wonton soup, seaweed, fish eggs, tea eggs and wonton noodle soup.

A super long wait, even on weekday lunches but worth it! Completely female chef restaurant and the food here is done so well. Loved the pan fried soup dumplings and the deep fried pork shop was good as well. The wonton noodle soup broth was not my favorite, personally, but it was fine.

Ordered via doordash. Apparently schezuan sauce over noodles (spicy) also comes with a broth that they don't mention. It was super fishy and smelled and tasted awful. Tried the dish without it, and even though it's supposed to be spicy, it was super bland. The mango pudding arrived hot and liquid, definitely not as a pudding.
